Yes, it is warped in the center. It creates a concave in which one side will lie flat on the platter, while the other will not.

I realized i love this record at 6:43 am on my way to work, in which i was listening to I Know Places. I definitely had to listen to it a few times and didn't love it at first, but yeah its pretty great.
