  1. This is great news! Can we get a 5 year anniversary reissue of Gangs too? Haha.
  2. I waited several months to finally get this this Apostle inspired by the Modest Mouse song "Bankrupt on Selling." Done by the extremely talented Myles Karr.
  3. This. Easily one of my favorite albums to come out this year. It makes you wonder what year it is considering Face to Face released a solid album too. That and Chixdiggit are back?! Masked Intruder's gig is up.
  4. I am guessing it has something to do with this and Square of Opposition
  5. Belvedere - The Revenge of the Fifth David Bowie - Blackstar Deftones - Gore Explosions in the Sky - The Wilderness Face to Face - Protection Look Mexico - Uniola Nails - You Will Never Be One of Us Plow United - Three PUP - The Dream Is Over SUMAC - What One Becomes I have a feeling I left a few out, but there is still time. I am looking forward to that new Dag Nasty EP and the Descendents and Bouncing Souls albums too. Fingers crossed that new Crusades album will be completed too.
  6. I tried getting Sabbath tickets, but the code keeps erroring out. I selected lawn seats since I am assuming those are the only ones that work. I had it go through earlier but when I tried checking out it timed out despite having a couple minutes left on the countdown.
  7. Did you try getting a place just outside of Asbury? I'd imagine Neptune or Eatontown wouldn't be too expensive. I'd offer but I usually crash on my girlfriend's Mom's couch. I picked up tickets for the Friday show when I was out for Punk Rock Bowling a couple weeks ago.
  8. Just a reminder Amoeba's Weekly Steal is up. This week's record is Pucifer's (Maynard James Keenan of Tool and A Perfect Circle) “V Is For Viagra: The Remixes”. It features remixes by Dave "Rave" Ogilvie of Skinny Puppy, Paul Barker from Ministry, and more. Link: http://www.amoeba.com/v-is-for-viagra-the-remixes-lp-puscifer/albums/3808203/ It doesn't appear the JUNE15 code applies (not that I blame them).
  9. Hello Kevin Devine collectors, you finally have a chance to purchase two of Kevin's rarest records. I am not sure if he even has these himself anymore. I regrettably need to sell them, because my girlfriend and I recently rescued a very sick kitten. Yma has already racked up over $1500 in vet bills and is still at risk of losing her right eye thanks to an infection caused by feline herpes that also gave her terrible respiratory issues. When we caught her she had her entire right eye shut and the medication has made progress. We quickly fell in love with this once feral kitten and didn't have the heart to turn her over to the SPCA just to have her put down so here we are. I was able to track down a copy of the coveted Stages test press limited to only 3 copies. Another member on here mentioned he had a copy, Kevin and the drummer Joey had copies. Kevin's was lost and unless Seth sold his off, this is Kevin or Joey's copy. The other record I have is incredibly unique (creepy). It is a handmade copy of Teenage Unity complete with a school photo Kevin, a bus pass, samples of hair from each member taped to the cover, a used cigarette butt, and more. There were only 25 of these made with each cover being different ranging from a drawing in crayon to this "beautiful" collage. I don't have photos of these at the moment so I can add them when I get home. But for now here are photos of Yma I will be posting these in a few places and will be taking the best offer per record. Please PM me what record(s) you want and how much you are willing to offer. Her next appointment with the ophthalmologist is in a couple of weeks so I will be closing this and accepting payment and shipping around then.
  10. Good lookin' out. Links for the lazy: Orange Vinyl Black Vinyl Also a note for other US buyers: US customers - you have the option of selecting the flat rate $6 which will get you Media mail shipping within the US. I only mail these out once a month so you will need to be patient but it will save you money and gets a tracking number from USPS.
  11. Begbie's (or Renton's now) bag from Trainspotting done by Carlos Perez at Seven Swords in Philly.
  12. That tour cassette is great. I am glad those songs are getting a proper release and will be picking that up for sure.
  13. Anyone else going to the release show this weekend?
  14. I can't wait for this and am happy I held off on buying that picture disc for so long. Also I am in very interested in getting tickets for one or both Brooklyn shows. PM me if anyone has any leads. I slept on tickets too long and have been kicking myself ever since.
  15. The mailers he uses are a bit a thin and don't really have much protection. That said my Satanic Surfers record came in fine short of a bent corner. The quality of the record was a bit lackluster, but I don't have an original Hero of Our Time to compare it to. I sat out this preorder since i already own all of their records except State of Flow. Someone should sell me a copy
  16. That came out great. I have an appointment with Tony next week.
  17. This is impossible. A lot of great albums have already been mentioned so I guess I will go with some others that came to mind. Night Birds - Mutiny At Muscle Beach | 2015 And So I Watch You From Afar - Gangs | 2011 Crusades - Perhaps You Deliver This Judgement... | 2013 Screaming Females - Ugly | 2012 Boston Strangler - Primitive | 2012 The Rival Mob - Mob Justice | 2013 Lupe Fiasco - Lasers | 2011 Black Tusk - Taste the Sin | 2010 Envy - Atheist's Cornea | 2015 Gary Clark Jr. - Blak and Blu | 2012
  18. Everything came in yesterday and I couldn't be any happier. Free bump!
  19. Wally from Rotting Out got arrested for drug trafficking. I say that loosely since he didn't get caught with anything hard - just weed and hash oil. I was wondering why I haven't seen him post on Instagram lately. From my interactions I had with him at This Is Hardcore every year the dude has been a stand up guy (everyone has their vice) and it is disappointing to see him go down like this. Hopefully his sentence isn't too bad, but this is the type of thing that can ruin your life. Here is the link: http://lambgoat.com/news/comments.aspx?id=26376 A lot of those comments are fucking awful. Keyboard warriors make me sick. That aside - is that FSU thing actually confirmed? I almost forgot about them. Either they aren't what they used to be on the east coast or Joe Hardcore does a damn good job keeping them out of Philly. The last time I heard anything about them Shattered Realm were still a band and the "gang" was linked to that Club Deep homicide in Asbury Park. Almost a decade later you only hear echoes of them and the skinhead problem is almost non-existent.
  20. I don't know who is voting for "This Could Be Love" over "San Francisco" but the rest of you have 3 hours to make up for their stupidity. Truth.
