Fillet Show was only released on CD and cassette. No vinyl version. I'm sure you can send Matt Talbott an email and he'll tell you the same.

That still has nothing to do with the price. Good for you for buying a record you enjoy. They are counting on people like you to pay those prices. I'm not even really complaining about the price, more so the fact that people try to justify it vs. ebay prices.

I never see how the original press price plays into the repress price. Who cares if it is more expensive on ebay? That doesn't mean you can overcharge for a new pressing.

You’re right about that.  I have been awful about updates.  I apologize.  I am not much of a communicator, as anyone that knows me would tell you.  I get into a head down, plow forward mindset and I forget to take into account things like letting people know what I’m doing. 
 
That said.  As I turn my attention fully to Old Canes, this deficiency has been made all the more clear to me, and I intend to rectify that.  I am committed to opening the lines of communication with everyone involved, as well as fulfilling the project.

I rejected doing the gold edition because technically there are still 150+ silver editions left.  Granted they are trapped in the basement of my old distributor, but I will get them back sooner than later methinks. 
 
Come to think of it, I think that conversation may have only existed in my head as the thought of replying to D.E. made me want to yak. 
 
Either way, Big School is run by a bad-ass dude so I hope it all goes well for him.

I'm 35, have been collecting vinyl for 20 years, have a $2000 turntable and a $1500 all tube amp. I have 4000 vinyl LPs.
Vinyl is not supposed to sound "distorted/fuzzed out". It's supposed to be superior sonically in every way to digital, save for surface noise on the LP. We are not discussing surface noise. We are discussing mastering/pressing defects. If you don't understand it, there's no need to contribute.

Its not much, but its a start. This is about 1/20th of the orders ive got so far. But stuff is definitely on its way!

Hell yea! Glad to hear that they have your support! Somehow they gained over $800 yesterday. I think there was maybe a $300 and $500 pledge. I hope those are real and the total goes through in the end.
