Hey guys, I've got some extra cash that I've been saving and I'd love to be able to get at least one of these records. Further Seems Forever - The Moon Is Down Jimmy Eat World - Futures Brand New - The Devil and God Brand New - Deja Entendu Variants don't matter, I just want to be able to listen to these guys. I know these are some pricey records, but I'm hoping to be able to find someone who could use some extra cash. Not looking to pay ebay prices, but I definitely understand what these records are worth and I'm not looking to lowball anyone. If any of you are looking to sell, please PM me. I'd be down for custom jackets for the original mess ups. Also, I don't like the way the company doesn't answer questions. They didn't respond to the 45RPM question, they didn't respond to my question about new jackets, they didn't really keep anyone informed about anything.

I emailed AinR the other day to ask them if there were any updates. Specifically I asked if new jackets would be sent with the records due to mine having scratches in them where the glued holder sits against the record covers. This was their response: Hello, We just received confirmation that the replacement pieces will be shipping from the manufacturer direct to customers as soon as this week.

So that brings me to my follow on question. If I were to press a record from a FLAC file, would it be inferior to the 24 bit .wav file? Or is the sound difference going to be negligible? I'm planning on pressing a one off record of one of my buddies (Mike Dunn and the Kings of New England), and I have the FLAC files for the album, but I don't have the 24bit masters from him. Based on your opinions, is it going to make any difference in the sound quality?

I've been trying to figure this question out. I simply don't understand the math/science/physics behind this. A 24/96 wav file is uncompressed, and thus preferred for pressing vinyl. A FLAC file can also be 24bit but isn't it compressed in some kind of way in order to reduce the file size, and doesn't that mean it's not actually lossless because it technically had to lose something in order to have a smaller file size? Please educate me.

Do you have any pictures of projects that you've worked on? I'd love to see what your stuff looks like.

I was hoping to see a repress of The Moon Is Down someday... Pretty bummed that I'll have to drop so much money for this, but I feel worse for people who don't have all the Copeland albums they want.

I got all of the tests from him EXCEPT for Makers. He didn't have one anymore... that means I'll be searching for someone who wants to help me complete my collection.

The idea of splitting subs is a great idea. I usually only want half the albums that are offered. I'm definitely going to try to find someone to split stuff with me from here on out.
