  1. Pretty sure you're the first person I've ever seen say Handcuffs is their favorite song on the album.
  2. Could we break the world record for Taylor Swift gifs in a single thread?
  3. Saw them last night in STL. Good show. Pretty much same setlist as the night before, so you pretty much know what you're getting (check setlist.fm). Not a huge IIOI fan but they seemed excited to be supporting. The fans around me were cool, but I've had past less positive experiences, so I get it.
  4. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cDs3VIug3_o You're welcome.
  5. https://nosleeprecords.com/product/7294/split As my avatar suggests, I'm stoked to get new music from the Felix Culpa. If anyone has a subscription and is willing to part with their "coffee w/ creamer" version, hit me up, I'll make it worth your while. Here's one of the new songs: http://www.brooklynvegan.com/chicago/2014/07/the_felix_culpa.html
  6. "Blasts of Holy Birth" is one of my top "wish it would get pressed to vinyl", so I'm not missing this one. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1209432218/the-new-record-triumvirate-double-lp-and-companion
  7. Sound of Lies was one of my top wants for a while and Smile has never been on vinyl before. If you like Wilco's Summerteeth, you should own those albums (particularly Sound of Lies). Rainy Day Music's a bit more traditional Americana like their earlier stuff, but still very good. http://www.musicdirect.com/p-235885-the-jayhawks-sound-of-lies-180g-2lp.aspx http://www.musicdirect.com/p-235882-the-jayhawks-rainy-day-music-180g-2lp.aspx http://www.musicdirect.com/p-235885-the-jayhawks-sound-of-lies-180g-2lp.aspx
  8. The Weight - The Weight Are Men Not earth-shattering, but I've always liked the album and it was in the discount bin at the local store.
  9. Got my copy of the repress today. Looks nice.
  10. "All I want is to be a happy man." - Happy Man by Sparklehorse
  11. Hiss Golden Messenger's Lord I Love the Rain /600 via Discogs
  12. That Cassino record is so good. Someone buy it.
  13. The album's very samey to me - not a lot of sound variation. I wonder if Andy's other groups are diluting (or compartmentalizing) MO in a way. RAGC is his acoustic project. Bad Books is his pop project. MO is his rock project, whereas on I'm like a Virgin and Mean Everything, those albums had all those kinds of songs on them.
  14. Got the box yesterday. #69 (like yer mom). Nitpicky criticism - no identification on the side of the box. Maybe they expect this to be prominently displayed in most collections, but pretty much every other box I have like this has the name of the album and artist on the side of the box so you can see it when its filed in the collection. I doubt I'll forget what it is, but it would have been nice to include, I think.
