We're going to be working with Kevin Devine a LOT this year – you can expect a big announcement on that front around the end of January – but it all starts with this double-LP reissue of the long out-of-print Brother's Blood, in conjunction with Devinyl Records and Favorite Gentlemen Recordings. 
 
2xLP release, housed in die-cut gatefold packaging. The record fits on three vinyl sides, so we pressed three songs from the I Could Be With Anyone EP, songs that have never been pressed on vinyl before, on the D-side.

yeah it'd be a tough sell for us to try to do other Valencia LPs when this one hasn't sold out yet, and it's their most popular one. maybe a very short run would make sense, personally I'd love to have all their stuff on wax.

Remember that time Topshelf Records pressed The Jazz June's The Medicine?  2xLP, coloured vinyl (both LP's were a different colour) super thick gatefold, glossy printed inner sleeves, on a run of only 500 for $20?

nine splatter have been restocked and are for sale on their own, that's the last of 'em unless we wind up with extras somehow after mail-order and any replacements

that's not always the plan, but oftentimes you have to pay a fairly significant charge to get a "cool" variant. for example tri-color comes with a separate charge. so if you are already paying that charge, it makes sense to do a decent number of them...like, we're not trying to pay $XX for a specific variant than only do 100 of that if you feel me. we're trying to keep the prices down for you guys.

I would do a stream on POZ for the same reason I'd do one on AP.net or AltPress – to keep it within this singular community. You go out to sites like Noisey, Brooklyn Vegan etc for cool looks (and personally because I love a lot of those sites and read them frequently), but I don't think you get the same demographic when you go for a premiere there. For Future Crooks...we know exactly who we really want to listen to this album.
