  1. Definitely grabbing this. I used to have the whole catalogue, but think I misplaced some in a move or accidentally sold some, not sure. Need to get Waves back, so a repress of that would be awesome.
  2. I feel ya. All these albums I love having such major anniversaries is really giving me a reality check how old I am and how quickly time goes by. This album came out when I was a junior in high school. Crazy to think it’s been 20 years since that.
  3. That’s less of a coupon and more of a referral code. So you get $20 yourself.
  4. Waiting a bit to buy this since October is the 20yr anniversary. Hopefully we get a repress / deluxe edition of some sorts.
  5. Dig it, and looking forward to the show, but still not paying $33 for it. Variants are cool at least. If it was $24ppd I’d bite.
  6. Haven’t listened yet, but I can’t justify paying $33 for 15 minutes of music.
  7. Apparently this board is Google search for this guy.
  8. Got my copy of Native Nod in last week and it rules. Definitely grab a copy. The blue came out really cool.
  9. Numero is going to be putting out a lot of great stuff from that vein this summer: Chino Horde, Boys Life, Tsunami, Thumbnail, Boilermaker, and more. So keep an eye out for that. Other bands you should check out (on Numero): Unwound, Bedhead, Native Nod, Bedhead, Codeine, Indian Summer, Current, Bedhead.
  10. I’m hoping they do a tour. But I’ll take a day off and drive up there if I need to. I’m only 6 hours away so I can make it work.
  11. Very tempted to go to the NYC show: https://dice.fm/partner/saint-vitus-llc-dba-saint-vitus-bar/event/xav5a-everyone-asked-about-you-8th-sep-saint-vitus-bar-new-york-tickets?dice_id=1288357&dice_channel=web&dice_tags=organic&dice_campaign=Saint+Vitus+LLC+(dba+Saint+Vitus+Bar)&dice_feature=marketing&_branch_referrer=H4sIAAAAAAAAA8soKSkottLXz8nMy9ZLyUxO1UvL1Q9LTk60NLE0SjFJTLWPL0pNSy0qSi2yLSnPLClJLQIACC7k4jMAAAA%3D&_referrer=twitter&_branch_match_id=1205528977845702701
  12. That’s weird. Mine came in a great mailer. No slip cover, but the mailer was legit. If you email them they’ll send you a replacement. Was yours numbered /1500 or /3000?
  13. I went pink. Think it fits nicely. But that blue was very tempting. Only didn’t since I ordered the Native Nod LP in blue just a few days prior.
  14. My thoughts exactly. I mean hell, Jonny and I were talking about how Tertia releases had damn gold foil on it, among other ‘cool’ packaging extras. The new owners of TC are out of their mind. I’m curious if the packaging designer shopped for the printer or if TC did it, and didn’t shop around or just approved it at a ridiculous price. I’d say ‘oh they probably are just being greedy assholes and marked it up a lot’, but I know that the packaging is expensive so they’re just incompetent and got taken for a ride. I’m curious if they found a new printer and they got a new customer price and were dumb enough to approve it. I believe the band are gonna make a response to this, per my last convo with them, cause this release is too bad for them to not address it. Triple Crown is sending me replacement discs, but sending it in the same sleeves I think. I asked for just regular sleeves and no ‘deluxe’ packaging, but said they can’t do special requests cause of ‘volume’. Thanks, SCP, for the standard macro responses in emails (classic Zendesk bullshit answers).
  15. Dig the new single too. I’ll be grabbing the indie variant on the next Monster Music sale.
  16. Personally very stoked on this. Absolutely love this band, and feel they’re slept on. Glad Numero is releasing their work. Also very excited for all the other 90s emo, hardcore, etc they’re putting out this summer. Just gonna stop buying records except everything Numero. (Half kidding…)
  17. Everyone Asked About You - Paper Airplanes, Paper Hearts - 2xLP Queer tweemo from the pop fringe of Little Rock, Arkansas’s thriving ’90s DIY scene. Paper Airplanes, Paper Hearts gathers Everyone Asked About You’s complete recorded works, including the Let’s Be Enemies LP and their two and a half 7"s released between 1997-2000. Remastered from the original DATs for maximum nostalgic crunch, this deluxe 2xLP is housed in a gatefold tip on sleeve and includes a 20-page book crammed with flyers, photos, lyrics, and an extensive essay on this crucial missing link between midwest emo and the Moog synthesizer. Pre-order: This item is on pre-order and expected to ship in mid-July. 18. Got mine in today. This is just insultingly bad. So first off the PVC sleeve has a strip of glue on it, so once you peel the tab up that’s pretty much it. You couldn’t even close it again if you wanted. The packaging was just a mailer so the PVC sleeve is creased and folded anyway; good thing it’s being discarded - but I paid for it. Secondly this packaging is basically two sleeves. That’s it. There’s no gatefold. The embossed white cover that makes you think it’s a gatefold via the picture is just an embossed sleeve. It’s not even wide enough for it to count as housing for two records because that’s not what it is. The other sleeve is just a standard sleeve made out of the same card stock / paper. The discs are definitely under 180g. I don’t have a scale, but I can tell. Lastly the wording on the site made it seems the entire release was mastered, but the wording on the PVC clarifies just the unreleased songs were “mastered for vinyl”. Even better is that is the most marred record I’ve ever received. It’s full of scuffs and scratches. Those paper sleeves really did a great job… How Tc could charge anything over $25 for this is beyond me. And that’s putting aside how I’m going to need replacement discs. Wow. If I didn’t need this to keep up my collection I’d do a return / charge back.
  19. Julien Baker on backing vocals, and Iggy Pop just in the music video. Was hoping this was gonna be a full collab album with Iggy.
