impact Posted May 5, 2008 Author Share Posted May 5, 2008 it was the EP. i checked all of them, they were all BLACK. just found it weird.. i wasnt really surprised that sabot stuff was at hot topic, because i actually scored some colored am - acoustic 7"s several years back, but it was just weird seeing that split there. They've had alot of good stuff recently- The new Blacklisted, The Hopesfall 10", all the Trustkill double album splits, ETID... But it always depends on the store. Don't get me wrong, I believe that you really were saying hi to a friend, but if the story involved you walking into Old Navy or Mervyn's you wouldn't explain to us why you were in there. They used to have a tiny vinyl section but last time I went in they only had a Bob Marley 12" in the display case and a stack of just random records on the counter that no one would want. This ranges from no music to a ton of music. I have worked for another company in 5 malls all of which had Hot Topics so I've seen a wide range, but at your higher volume store you can usually find some good stuff.
