museummouth
The fact that the regular price for the alternate artwork one is $25 is laughable.
smeepo
Didn't YNE come with an alternate screenprinted artwork for the first "X number" of orders at no extra cost?
AWasteOfATime
that art is baaaaaaaad no wonder they already have alternative cover Hobbes and alogical
futures
ugh $8 shipping why
smeepo
ugh $8 shipping why This. "Standard shipping" is such a joke. The LP + 7" bundle could be shipped media mail or probably even first class for a fraction of the cost.
futures
its probably "a handling charge." thats what happened when I asked them last time about their costs.
smeepo
In a lot of ways, that's fair. They have to pay someone/some people to pack up their packages. But if they're using media mail that costs less than $3 for 1 pound of postage, $4.69 per LP package is quite the overhead. Even so, the bundle I'm looking at is still a reasonably good deal with that shipping cost.
alogical
Didn't YNE come with an alternate screenprinted artwork for the first "X number" of orders at no extra cost?Yes and mine is on eBay if you want it Prices for this are ridiculous. Prob not buying.
smeepo
That artwork is so neat. I didn't like YNE a whole lot, but I did like the acoustic versions of the songs on Futures and Sutures. I like what I hear in the teaser, but I need to hear a whole song.
cwhitmuzik
I'm sure rise will have their preorder.
diabretic
I went ahead and bit on it because the artwork is /250. Now i'm sure rise will put up limited variants and what not.
Shitty Rambo
From their Twitter: "Every Transit record has been different. Joyride doesn't sound like L&F or YNE..It sounds like the next Transit record should. #Joyride". Hmm That still kind of worries me. I'll wait until I can hear more, I skipped YNE on vinyl for obvious reasons. I really hope Transit snaps back into it because they've put out some really great material prior to their last LP. smeepo
Judging from the teaser, it sounds like this album could be a step back toward L&F... but y'know, pretty hard to make a judgment without even a full length song out yet.
AWasteOfATime
the teaser and art skew poppy, which could be....better...
smeepo
According to Transit's twitter, District Lines will be the only place where PO's are available. I wonder if "Don't Bury Me Away" on the 7" is a re-recorded version of "A Living Diary." It probably is since Transit is into re-recording and renaming old songs. futures
Already delayed, it seems: This item is on pre-sale with an estimated ship date of October 14th, 2014.Note: Due to manufacturing delays, vinyl will not be delivered on or before release date. We will ship immediately upon receipt.

steviex2shoes
Just because they're saying Rise won't have a pre-order, doesn't mean they won't. I believe it was the last record that they offered this pre-order on their site with special screen printed covers. But then rise had their own order set up a little later, plus it was available on amazon.
smeepo
Think this is proof Rise doesn't care about this record? Eh, no. They did PO's for YNE through their storenvy. I think the same was for Futures & Sutures. It seems like Rise has let Transit do whatever they want with their merch. Also I think that disclaimer is put in the description as a safeway so that no one can get mad at DL or Transit about the time it takes to ship the records. The album release date is 10/21 and the expected shipment is 10/14.
Ron Don Volante
Really hate how there's not a bundle with just the alternate artwork one and the 7" veggiecorecords and somber_silt
veggiecorecords
Kinda bummed, All I want is the acoustic 7" and the alternate vinyl, no package for that.... I don't need another cheap Gilden Transit t-shirt I'll never wear. somber_silt

smeepo
I like how they include a copy of the CD in that bundle... because that's what we listen to our music on. Tiny, cheap, plastic discs... what a world...
