fitterhappier
Drake, the king of fests
whoshotthefrog
Brant Bjork and Touche Amore are probably the only bands that interest me of this year's lineup.
dreamover
There's nothing in the top three lines of either of these fests that I want to see that I haven't seen recently.
BuzzersonKillwell
Agree. Shit, I wouldn't even open my patio door if most of those bands were playing on my back deck. Shameful Dread
One Hundred Fifty-Two
Wouldn't kanye, Beyoncé, jay z, eminem, or outkast get billed higher than drake. He seems like a drop off in terms of headliner.
Bladew1ll1s1sdead
Oberst is legit the only person in Gov Ball I would see.
parkinglot
Laughing at Stereogum's description of Brand New: Everyone hates metal. Other than godfathered-in progenitors AC/DC, there is basically no metal on either of these bills. Coachella has Brand New, which is awesome and which sort of counts, but that’s it. GMay
Hozier has no business being on the 2nd line for Coachella. Seems like everyone is reaching this year.

One Hundred Fifty-Two
I'm debating this one I went last year. It is a fun festival. Right on the beach. You need to get a condo near the festival. Since there are late night music options everyone parties at their rooms. dreamover
Shaky Knees definitely has the strongest big festival lineup I've seen yet this year. Still, I've seen every band in the top 5 lines that I like last year or the year before.
One Hundred Fifty-Two
Shaky Knees definitely has the strongest big festival lineup I've seen yet this year. Still, I've seen every band in the top 5 lines that I like last year or the year before. It seems like this is Atlanta version of lolla. In which case I'm guessing lolla will have a better lineup. There are always real good after shows for lolla that make it a better choice than shaky knees. Bonnaroo doesn't even come to life until most festivals are already over. Plus the comedy is a huge advantage.
dreamover
Since Live Nation now owns a majority share of C3 presents, I really don't know what will happen with Lolla/ACL. Either A) The format will continue on the path that it's on (away from rock), possibly getting bigger pop headliners like Jay-Z and Taylor Swift or B ) They'll be able to get some big exclusive acts that other fests aren't getting (see: blackmail) and perhaps that's why all the other fests are pretty weak this year. Princess Logan
I laughed at that Brocella poster a few days ago until I got to the parts that blatantly make women uncomfortable for the sake of humor. Why we gotta trash talk Kesha?
