Jollyronnie
Last night Andrew W.K. posted on instagram that "I Get Wet" was "back in stock" I don't know if that means repress or if they just found a box or what. But I know $29 beats the $90 it's listed for on Discogs. http://andrewwk.com/store#!/I-GET-WET-SPECIAL-DELUXE-EDITION-VINYL-LP/p/15135412/category=146332 (I searched the forum for Andrew W.K. and I Get Wet and didn't find this posted. If this is a repost, sorry, I tried to search for it first.)
DC1221
Crazy. I bought this for $20 off his website around Christmas last year. No clue why it is/was going for $70 on discogs.

DC1221
My only complaint about this release is that it is on white vinyl, rather than white w/ red splatter. Jollyronnie
Jollyronnie
That would have been cool because white with red splatter would have made so much sense!

elvismcvegas
Fuck yeah, I've loved this album since I was in middle school. Glad I could get it on vinyl.
DC1221
I'd highly recommend reading the 33 1/3 series book about this album. Pretty interesting read, with a tiny bit of insight behind the man/myth of Andrew WK.
IWastman
Man, super down for this. Seeing him perform this album live was a bucket list checkoff of mine.

Cause you can't put a price on gettin' the party started! I feel like it'd be hard to listen to this album if you're not watching Jackass or excessively drinking at the same time. Lyoko
How he went from music legend to Destroy Rebuild Destroy still baffles me
laughingstalk
No clue why it is/was going for $70 on discogs. It's not. People are asking for that much but goes for around $40 at the most. The original black pressing actually goes for slightly more.
KingTacoMunster
never really got into this dude, but his Wiki is a good read. especially around the whole "steev mike" stuff/legal problems.

The underlying beat pushes you to keep up with it. When i get to the song i get wet towards the end your kinda tired but it makes you haul ass. DC1221
If I ran or jogged, I'd probably listen to this. But instead, I listen to this album to finish off those last two slices of 'za even though I'm full, but too lazy to wrap them up in foil for lunch the next day. kyacrash
