Early review, this guy isn't really a fan of it and I disagree with most of what he says but here ya go:

Eh, I kinda agree. Its kinda samey and could be 3-4 tracks shorter. I still really like it, but I'm not blown away.

To each his own, of course, and maybe I'm just easy to please, but this album has really clicked with me over the last few weeks. I think there's a lot more experimentation and variety than on Oshin, and there's honestly not any songs I'd really cut. That review cites a few tracks as being too repetitive, but I never find myself bored or doing anything other than grooving to the extended jams. I agree with the mention of a dark theme – bubbling underneath that vibrant album art and the chipper, summer atmosphere of the first two tracks, there's definitely an underlying vibe throughout the album that occasionally feels like a really bad dream. I seriously dig it.

It's not going to impress everyone, but I guess I'm just grateful that it's growing on me as much as it has. I get random hooks and bass lines stuck in my head every other day. Good stuff for sure.
