Suicide Machines - War Profiteering Is Killing Us All 15. Glassjaw - Worship and Tribute After much deliberation and a lot of going back and forth, we have finally compiled the final vote list for the Vinyl Cooperative Label. There were hundreds of incredible albums voted on but when it came down to it the above releases were the top 15 releases. My plan of attack is to make every effort I can to license the top 4 releases for the label. I feel really good about the Falcon and A Wilhelm Scream album's chances of being pressed, but not as good about the Suicide Machines or At the Drive In. Regardless of how I feel, I will leave no stone unturned and I hope to have updates on the progress over the next week. If at any point, I get declined the opportunity to license one of the top 4 records voted upon, I will move to the 5th release, then the 6th, and so on. Wish me luck. I posted the top 15 voted releases not because I think I will have to move that far down the list, but because I figured some of you might geek out at looking at what other releases made it in the top 15. That A Wilhelm Scream is one of my favourite albums and if it gets pressed, in my opinion that would make signing up for the coop worth it. Consider me excited. djjazzyjeff Posted May 28, 2008 Share Posted May 28, 2008 let's hear from more non-share holders; would you consider buying these? no, and honestly i'm blown away by this list. especially the top 4(or 5 i guess). please, someone help me out if i'm confused, but why (at the very least for the first record pressed) would you not want to press something that will fully sell out easily so that the co-op has a chance to thrive. down the road press fanboy stuff. again, maybe i'm misguided, but if this is a business, it's crazy to me to press something there would be minimal interest in. love to be proven wrong though.
