An improvement from where we were three weeks ago, I suppose. However, the Kreider-Step-Zucc line has been beasting and Hags has looked great since coming back. Miller looked good tonight and Hank looks like he's starting to get healthy. MDZ, on the other hand. Trade him for a janitor for the new venue or something. He's continually regressing. KennyFuckingPowers Posted November 1, 2013 Share Posted November 1, 2013 Please tell me how they didnt....the offense was clicking, there wasnt defensive break downs (unless Del Zotto was on the ice), Hank made some big saves, tons of traffic in front of the net that lead to a PPG, took 1 penalty, the shot totals alone should tell you how good the Rangers looked. thechrisformat Posted November 1, 2013 Share Posted November 1, 2013 Yea, Rangers looked good (comparatively). On the scoreboard it could have been better - the score could have easily been 4 or 5-0. Miller made a good number of saves where he didn't even look at the puck and was lucky enough to be in the right position to turn them away. I don't think we're contending for top team in the East yet, but it's an improvement for sure. Defensively (beside MDZ) we were solid and offense was good on the forecheck and producing chances. Especially Lupul. I was being sarcastic. With the Flyers it's a constant revolving door of bringing back guys they have had in the past. They also like to run their team as if it's still the 70's and the broad Street Bullies still exist. However, until their owner, Ed Snider, dies or sells the team they will contine to have this mindset which isn't exactly how things are in today's NHL. I doubt they're trading for a goalie. as a backup to Varmarlov who was just arrested. they NEED a starting goaltender, Giguere is not an every day netminder and they've got the prospects/talent to deal for Miller. There was a line brawl and he went after Holtby. Holtby didn't want to fight and when he went down Emery pulled him back up and then punched him in the back of the head probably a dozen times while Holtby was against the boards.
