reachforthesky
although im not complaining it was kinda weird i got mine today & it was sealed i opened it and on the b side there are are quite a few scratch marks on the middle of the lp from where some one tried to put it on a turntable but missed mine looks like this as well. No need to worry. This is one bomb ass looking picture disc. I love the artwork.
000000
WTF, my copy is in MA too, MA is the opposite way from NY to here. I thought with priority they sent stuff properly, unlike media mail that gets shipped where ever it fits. mine did that too. i got scared that they sent me someone elses confirmation number but alas, it has arrived, haha. at my school address though, so im impatiently waiting to check it out! corbet
the mailer, if you even wanna call it that...is shitty. but the record is wonderful! let it breathe! I can't decide man. I really want to but I'm honestly holding this to possibly flip or trade down the road for some more rare Brand New or NFG records. Brand New fans are crazy. One of my favorite bands but I don't even like YFW. If it was available for $15 I wouldn't even buy it.
ijux
being a picture disc, how is the sound on this vinyl?
dante3000
Strange...I got my order in today and it came with an autographed CD booklet for "On Letting Go". Odd.
wadeboggs
being a picture disc, how is the sound on this vinyl? Its still sounds great, but in between songs the noise from the picture disc is really bad.
corbet
Mine will be delivered tomorrow. Thursday/Envy split should be arriving any day now also...
daniel
This is the first picturedisc I've ever owned and I was expecting it to sound bad, but it sounds amazing, save for the crackling noise between tracks. Easy to ignore, though. I couldn't believe how heavy it was.
adamlikesmusic
None of the picture discs I own sound bad. My only complaint is the cheap ass plastic jackets that break before they even reach my doorstep. If they came in actual jackets, I'd have no complaints at all about picture discs. (Like this one)
mcm1610
My NFG pic disc sounds terrible. My BTMI! - Get Warmer is just alright. This one is pretty good though. I know I have more, but I can't think of them off hand.
adamlikesmusic
My New Found Glory 7", Bomb The Music Industry! 12", Rise Against 12", and Anti-Flag 12" all sound good. (Granted they're not the best of bands)
magalvsr13
i've never had a pic disc sound too bad. this one was surprisingly heavy though so im looking forward to getting a chance to listen to it
sonix
I always wondered how they made picture discs. I know how black records are pressed.. is it screened like tshirts and covers.. or what?
Duff
someone in a thread a while ago explained the process of how pictiures discs are made. im too lazy to dig it up but if no one else explains it i'll see if it can find it, i can't remember off the top of my head how they're made. daniel
I think I remember that. Something about a very thin piece of vinyl with the artwork on either side of that, then two thin pieces of clear vinyl, one on each side of the record. Might be totally off, though. desensitizedbyu
It's not vinyl at all.

momentumlost
ive seen 2 different kinds...i was under the impression most picture discs are not made of vinyl @ all and made of plastic...i could be wrong... but there are some that are clear vinyl with a picture in them...the pezcore reissue is like that. thomas
It sounds good, but there is a lot of background noise during silence.
sonix
It's not vinyl at all. that would make sense because its heavier and has a different feel.
birdwell
not a huge PicDisc fan...wish every album that was released on PicDisc format had a regular vinyl counterpart...such as Grade's "Headfirst Straight To Hell" and this Circa Survive release

thomas
anybody else have a hell of a time getting this off their turntable? I made the hole a bit bigger with a knife when I noticed it would not fit on without force.
mcm1610
Mine slides down easy with no problem, but I have to give it a little love to get off. Nothing too terrible though.
