scottheisel
Has Jimmy Fallon made any jokes about this whole thing, or is he pretty much keeping his trap shut for job-security reasons?
mediocore
Kimmel knocked that one out of the park. Holy shit, haha!
scotterson
Popeater's saying that Jay Leno is considering leaving, too:http://www.popeater.com/2010/01/13/jay-leno-leaving-nbc/ I feel like it's a little late for that...he may not have been initially responsible for the move, but it seems incredibly weak that he was willing to bump Conan until now. Also, Fallon has been making some jokes, but not to the extent as everyone else. But I've only seen one or two of his monologues since this started. kirbypuckett
I didn't read this thread, but am I the only one that thinks all of these shows are pretty boring?
rtw88
I didn't read this thread, but am I the only one that thinks all of these shows are pretty boring? I've always loved Conan, and Jimmy Kimmel has his moments, but I agree that the rest of the stuff is usually pretty boring.

axlrose
The Kimmel bit is probably the best satire of Leno I've ever seen. The headlines bit was amazing.

scotterson
Apparently Conan said his last show will be Friday the 22nd, a few days before they were breaking for the olympics. Hope he lands somewhere soon.
adamlikesmusic
Is a shame. I won't be watching the new old Tonight Show.
sgoodcore
Conan needs to basically take the show he did at 1230 and start doing it at 1130. All the sharp edges, all the odd stuff that made him great. The audience he appeals to will watch him at 1130 especially if he still brings in the bang-up musical guests.
