matt
im not sure why but i have this weird hunch that there are more people here that just "collect" rather than listen. please prove me wrong. just a huge peeve of mine.
Guest scriptedrain
I'm listening to Bright Eyes right this second, actually, and just got done with Russian Circles too. I couldn't imagining not enjoying them for what they were made for. - Jeff

riddle350
Sadly I don't currently have a turntable but once I get one those sexy bastards are going to be spinning non-stop.

ronniethebear
Vinyl played on a good hi-fi is unbeatable. So yes, absolutely.
altarsofradness
so you can listen to these things, too?
hickey
I always listen to my records. I like the whole "collecting" aspect, but what good is it if it just sits on a shelf? Why not just buy the jacket and frame it at that point? That said, however, if I get two copies of something, I'll typically only play one (ie. I have a red and black copy of Lifetime's recent record, I only play the black one).
altarsofradness
speaking of that lifetime record, do you have any sort of pressing info for the black? i missed getting the red. bummer.
Guest conoley
Not in the car or when I am walking, but at home I do
Guest falloutcollapse
i don't get to listen as much as i'd like to, but i do when i can.
benchwarmer
my turntable sucks, I don't have a receiver and I don't have any room for either of them in my small cramped apartment. once I move, the first thing I'm going to buy is a better turntable and a nice receiver. that said, I don't listen to them currently, but I used to, and will again, so I didn't vote. hickey
speaking of that lifetime record, do you have any sort of pressing info for the black? i missed getting the red. bummer. I'm pretty sure it was somewhere between 700 and 800 black and 200 - 250 red.
adambomb
getting home from work and popping a record on the turntable is possibly my favorite part of the day.
cadetapplesauce
i usually don't have any more time to. plus my records are downstairs and my record player is upstairs, so it's a hassle running upstairs and downstairs just to change the record. but once i get off my ass and buy a NICE turntable (the one i have is decent, $80 sony turntable), i'm going to move all that shit downstairs with my records. when i was taking an art class, i would always, always throw on the first Clash record. i just felt more creative with it spinning. flood
i wish i had more time to sit down and listen to vinyl, unfortunately i dont get to spend that much time sitting in my living room... i need to get a 2nd turntable for my desk at work

jhulud
I voted 'no' solely because lately (past year or so) I don't have the time to...between working my job and assisting my parental units with their business, free time is a huge luxury for me. Don't get me wrong though...there have been moments when I have had some downtime and pop a record on the player and just get whisked away to la-la land. But it's not often...=(
mrc
i listen to most everything. there are a couple lps that are sealed and some stuff i havent gotten around to listening to yet. Most of my time spent with my collection comes on the weekends. so most of the time i dont rock my vinyl M-F. Im a weekend vinyl warrior
bicyclepirate
I listen to them everyday. That's really the only reason I buy them, if they turn out to be collectable later, that's a bonus.
