kyle
I listen to vinyl all the time.
gimonsarfunkel
I'd like to listen to them more, but I've got 3 turntables hooked up in 2 rooms right now. My roomie has 2 more upstairs. Once and a while (usually after a few Jack and Cokes) I'll put on my Pollywog Stew 45. I don't play that one very much though. All else if fair game anytime. xfedaykinx
Wrong thread?- Jeff speaking of that lifetime record, do you have any sort of pressing info for the black? i missed getting the red. bummer. I'm pretty sure it was somewhere between 700 and 800 black and 200 - 250 red.

greenatheart
I'd like to listen to them more, but I've got 3 turntables hooked up in 2 rooms right now. How is having 3 turntables hooked up an excuse to NOT listen to vinyl?!?
skumbucket
getting home from work and popping a record on the turntable is possibly my favorite part of the day. I'm with you on that.... but I have the day off today so I'm listening to Hale/Wollard split right now. so i listened to this thing today (it just arrived yesterday) and i cannot even believe how fucking good these songs are (although i have to admit i'm not that hot on the first wollard track). i can't find a download of it anywhere, but if anyone finds it online i would love to have this in my car. skumbucket
also, is it just me or does the production seem a little inferior on the wollard end of things? like a lot less full than hale's songs?

I also just played it for the first time, and wow, those Mike Hale songs are something else. Didn't expect that at all -- reminded me more of Rocky Votolato than Gunmoll. Wollard's half was alright (and he was the reason I bought the record), but Hale wins this one easily.
skumbucket
i agree completely. hale knocked it out of the fuckin' park. ridiculously good.
mrbananagrabber
yeah, it was good to see that mike hales solo efforts are really good. I am really happy i won his CD from ssr.

faith
I left my turntable in Montréal. ^^ my GF bought me a new turntable for xmas, so yes now i do
mcm1610
My turntable gets a ton of work. Whenever I'm in my bedroom I have a record going. Since I've gotten my collection to a decent number, my itunes sits fairly unused unless I get a huge urge to listen something I don't have on wax yet. Out of 100ish, I think I only have 3 that haven't been played, and that's because I have 5 copies of the same album, one sealed, and the other two I haven't popped in. mrc
Itunes and cds are for work/car. Records are the only thing i listen to at home, unless im downstairs cleaning or something.
slymer
Yes, it's pretty much the only thing I do with them
minty
Of course I listen to them! Nothing better than getting off work and chilling out with some ice-cold beers while spinning a record or 2.
counterfiction
love listening to my records. sitting down with a good beer and a great record is a nice reward for the end of the week.
mxv
At home I listen to vinyl almost exclusively. I can't even tell you the last time I even turned on the CD player at Combustion Manor. In the car and at work I listen to the iPod.
captainmorgan
Yeah, I pretty much only listen to the vinyl at home. I also pretty much play everything I own. I only have a couple records where I'll keep one of the colors unplayed. Just finished the new HWM tour LP, now on to Against Me - RAR on pumpkin /25. Vinylz are for listening. dante3000
I seriously haven't listened to a record in nearly two months. We packed up my turntable in the move and I just haven't gotten it out yet. I love listening to it at home, but I will admit I have bought records recently that I haven't listened to yet. I mean to...I just haven't
