dustin415
Holy shit I forgot all about this haha. When were they supposed to be done? I forgot all about this too. My only concern is Crisci seems to drag his feet quite a bit when it comes to completing anything other than Appleseed Cast, but its usually worth the wait. deafmx
i hope this is completed soon. he hadn't even written the songs yet, that i'm aware of, when this was funded. i anticipate a waiting game.

twelvetwenty
In the comments on the Kickstarter page on June 11th he said: Currently recording. We should have all three 7" done by the end of summer! Also, working on designs for the hand screened artwork and T-Shirts. more info to come!

steviex2shoes
Yeah, this is the first time with Kickstarter that I feel like we were somewhat taken advantage of...I'll just be happy when I see some records...just seems like hardly any updates (unless I asked on the comments section of kickstarter), plus its been quite a while since it was funded. Oh Well.
deafmx
i've waited for things from Kickstarter for months but it's been worth the wait. i'm sure this will be no different.
000000
was just thinking about this the other day, so excited to hear these!
000000
http://vinylcollective.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=65873 he commented earlier with a recording update and why its taking so long
ahigby
As someone who missed out on this when the Kickstarter project was open, I was curious whether the 7" series would get a wider release so I emailed Chris. Here's what he said: "Hey Alan, it will be available in 2012 on Saddle Creek Records. CC" I'm looking forward to this!
xxmartinxx
Well, I'm glad I paid for him to record is so Saddle Creek didn't have to. *grumble grumble grumble*

northernfailure
I thought the kickstarter thing didn't actually take peoples' money unless it reached it's goal and got pressed...
robotfactory
no, it takes your money once it reaches it's goal.

LowEndAutomatic
I was wondering what what was going on regarding this project...
audmill
I also paid for this and think it is a little bs taking this long. Almost a year now. If he reached the goal, he should try and make it happen quickly instead of making excuses. If saddle creek picked this up... we will still get our records but still. Come on. Weare all busy but if you start a kickstarter that suceeds, finish what you promise in a reasonable amount of time.
twelvetwenty
Chris is the new Virgil. Old Canes is the new In The Red.
jerseydave77
Anything short of epic will make this a complete failure as opposed to the total failure it is now.
dustin415
I may have mentioned this already, but if you follow Chris' projects closely, you'd see that he pretty much drags his feet with everything but the Appleseed Cast. I think Feral Harmonic went through several phases where it was just set aside and not touched for months. Admittedly, i wouldn't expect most people to follow him this closely to have noticed this, but knowing this is why i decided not to put money into the kickstarter. It'll see release eventually. And i bet it will be a worth while package.
dreamover
The difference with this and other kickstarters is that he was also raising money for recording. He was completely starting from scratch. That takes a lot longer than just pressing some records.

He was completely starting from scratch. That takes a lot longer than just pressing some records. He recorded the new appleseed cast himself. I can't see him going to someone else for these songs... In my own opinion I would wait forever for new music from any of his projects because most are quite epic. He's a perfection freak!
