Back in the day (2001-2003) when I worked at a local music shop the record manager got into the habit of ordering every album victory released because up until that point they sold extremely well (earth crisis, snapcase, hatebreed etc). Then came the onslaught of total sh*t and we ended up sending a good deal of albums back to the distributor for a refund.

For example... does anyone remember Student Rick? Sweet jesus was that some absolutely horrid stuff.
