Shitty Rambo
Tiny Engines (Tigers Jaw, CSTVT, Look Mexico, Restorations) is stoked to welcome Gainesville, FL's Dikembe to its growing family of bands. The label will release the quartet's debut full-length, Broad Shoulders, on 12" vinyl and digital formats in early 2012. Pre-orders will launch at the beginning of December. If you're not already jamming Dikembe on a regular basis you're; A) Fucking up. Hard. Missing out on an amazing band! Fans of Look Mexico and Stay Ahead Of The Weather will like these guys a lot. I have had a major boner for their EP Chicago Bowls (which you can get at here - http://tinyurl.com/3zxjn7p) and they have a brand new track streaming here - http://tinyurl.com/3bvnk7w I'm fairly jelly of all you lucky bastards hitting Fest, if you're able to, watch these guys! GMay
I'm really into this band. LOVED that they used the Freaks and Geeks snippet on Scottie Spliffen.

brandon260
It's crazy to think they originally planned to have the preorder in December
rtw88
December. Haha. To be fair, a version of the album actually was finished then, but we scrapped it and rerecorded about half of it, and totally remixed it.
torpaul
so excited about this record. i already listen to the mp3s minimum once a day....
bearchuck
I have an email from the band on October 24th, 2011 that includes this sentence ... "We are in the final stages of mixing right now." Dikembe is a constant source of hilarity in my life and for that I love them. Of course, making an awesome record certainly puts them near and dear to my heart as well. I think it's pretty safe to say that Broad Shoulders was worth the wait. We were thinking about doing pre-orders next week, but because turnaround times at Rainbo have been so long lately, I think we're going to push it back to the week of July 2nd. Of course, we reserve the right to arbitrarily change our mind at a moment's notice.
daniel
This is awesome but is Wavelets is done? News to me.
rtw88
Wavelets is still a band! Let the record show that I am nearly never the one to set dates. I am the king of "We believe/think" and "Tentatively."
