jase
Sorry. Had to show off a lil. Showing us whoever did this has poor framing skills? They are all crooked, and it looks like the record popping out the bottom of a few
adamrfox
Showing us whoever did this has poor framing skills? They are all crooked, and it looks like the record popping out the bottom of a few there was no real sleeve for that release it was a plastic sleeve with a screenprinted paper insert so thats why it looks like the records are popping out the bottom thedillon

They are all crooked, and it looks like the record popping out the bottom of a few They would have looked much better being framed without the plastic sleeve and the records aren't playable when they're squished in a frame, at least keep those out so you can use them for what they were made for

patrickemmons
I was thinking about creating a version of that expensive plastic record wall mounted thing but out of wood but haven't had time to do it yet

Team Avatar
I've always thought that records on the wall is an awesome idea. I might look into these - I've never heard of them before. Also the easel thing is awesome, I wish I had room for it on my 2x2 expedit.
gabpower
You can even make your own easel with an old record like I did here : I know it's not a crazy slick piece since I cooked it more than I do with bowls so no hate please. This was my first try and I did not take my time or measures. It looks like this and it does the job for now : I find it very handy, it shows the cover of what's playing and it leaves you more room of top of your desk. bluessinger
I use a file holder similar to these on the wall next to my player: http://www.target.com/ssearchTerm=file+holder&category=0%7CAll%7Cmatchallpartial%7Call+categories Only mines clear plastic. Super convenient, and cheap

bluessinger
^ Clicked that and got this Haha, yeah! Just like that one. My fault, if you go to any big box store (Walmart, Target, Staples, Office Depot) they'll have them. Or just search "file holder" on their sites. hellbent
I'm in the process of getting records framed and hung on my wall of albums that had a tremendous impact on me. I'm liking a lot of what others are doing and it's giving me some ideas too. Thanks for the posts!
josh83
I'm cool with people hanging their records if they want to, they paid for them they can do whatever they want with them. I would be concerned about putting them clear of any direct sunlight which could heat up the glass warping the record inside just my thoughts. daegor
I have to pipe up. HANGING a record with something like 'Records on Walls' or a railing, or using an easel is ENTIRELY different than FRAMING a record. nivek87

gutterpunk79
Just make your own. Cost me a few dollars (two different wood trim pieces that I glued together / painted, cut the proper lenght that made sense for me and then used my nail gun to attach to the wall). It takes a second to take the record out to the turntable (vice versa). No frames needed. I display a few records that either means a lot to me or that I simply love the artwork. I also been keeping my latest purchases there as they usually get quite a bit of playing time.
