Couldn't tell you other than I like it more than the clear. not sure if youre asking me why i think its hideous or not, but here goes: the color combo has nothing to do with the album art. splatter vinyl, save for a small selection of records, generally looks like a complete mess. reissuing great records for everyone to enjoy is a thumbs up in my book but there's nothing worse than when they press great records w/ these ugly color combos. the album art here is not intricate - they could have done any sort of swirl or split combination consisting of black / green / purple / white and it would have matched way better. classic record, keep it classy. i dont normally get all that fussed about colors but sometimes better options are so painfully obvious that i cannot fathom how labels come to some of these choices (VC press of the alk3 - goddamnit reisssue anyone?). then again, i saw some of the shirts fearless has in their store so i guess i shoudnt be surprised? That hardly happens when an album is repressed. But travis, have you heard anything else about the horrible off-center pressing on the pink Vaya. I read one complaint on this board and then when I got mine it had the same problem but my red copy is goddamn perfect. Do you think all the pinks are bad or just a portion of them? My pink version plays just fine, and doesn't seem to off center whatsoever. Must just be a big grouping of them that got messed up. Bummer dude.
