scottheisel
I want to buy my dad cigars (as he's really gotten into them over the past few years) but my mom HATES the smell, and gets super-pissed whenever he smokes one. Don't know if I should willingly poke the bee's nest.
chiefwahoo
I bought my dad a record collection today for Christmas. About 1,000 records split evenly between singles and albums. It's going to be a blast going through all of them together.
ronniegwilliams
1. Im sorry. 2. With all due respect. 3. I chuckled at the way you said hes dead and "probably" like you're still thinking about it. Haha, that was the point, I was definitely posting this with a humorous tone

cymbalism15
I want to buy my dad cigars (as he's really gotten into them over the past few years) but my mom HATES the smell, and gets super-pissed whenever he smokes one. Don't know if I should willingly poke the bee's nest. My friend gave his dad a certificate to a local cigar shop that has a patio. Smoked the first one with him and now his dad can go there to smoke and socialize which is nice and it keeps it out of his house since his mom also hates it. Don't know if I should willingly poke the bee's nest. If you do decide to poke the bee's nest go for the Alec Bradley Limiteds ($12.50) Maker's Mark ($11.00) or Ashton Limited ($14.00.) Those are by far my favorites. Ashtons go best w/ JW scotches (Black), Maker's w/ Maker's (der der der) and the Alec's I prefer w/ Buliet Rye. jhook
Some PJ pants and an itunes giftcard. I usually buy him a dvd of a movie I like that I want him to see. The last three years I have bought Mad Max, Rambo ( the first one), and Robocop II. All three of these are still sealed on a shelf at my parents house. I was leaning twords Starship Troopers this year.
cbbrew22
I got him a speaker for his car that clips onto his visor and connects to his phone via blutooth for wirelessly talking, only to find out that his car already has that feature built in. I guess I'll keep that one haha. I think I'm just going to get him a gift card for Dick's Sporting Goods.
abovetheearth
Converted some old 8mm into DVDs. He was in the army and never got to watch us grow up. Now he can see what he missed out on. Naturally I put it to a bunch of post-rock. zacaroo21

Aych
My dad actually gave me a list of stuff he wanted this year. Needless to say, I was impressed. Ended up getting him a new outfit for him to wear to work, and some old guy cologne that he likes. $45 for all of it, because I'm a Maxxinista. Er, Maxxinisto. Doesn't matter, the stuff was cheap.
