inlimbo
JK Simmons deserves all the awards for Whiplash. I should probably see more of the highly acclaimed performances from the year, but that's how I feel after seeing that movie. Also, that last scene was so beautifully shot. The slow motion and the back and forth seriously pumped me up. Wasn't it?! The cinematography was amazing, that final scene where <spoilerish> they finish caravan and the lights dim but he keeps his solo going </spoilerish> has stayed with me. Im sure Simmons will get the oscar, should've been nominated twice in the same category. Glad you got to see it, man!

Bladewillisisdead
My nail advice: just have someone who has been painting their nails for over 20 years do them for you
radiatorhums
I must be super bored. I've been slowly trying to weed out the clutter in my apartment. So far I've thrown away a Windows XP CD, probably 2-3 dozen different sized tips for two brands of in ear head phones, some misc. things that came with my vacuum that I'll never use and some suction cups that I have no idea why I have. radiatorhums
you could probably figure out something fun to do with those suction cups Haha, probably. I'm trying really hard to clean out my place and those suction cups take up precious, precious space! I also need to figure out a way to dispose of an iPhone 3S and two ancient laptops... Considering I mainly buy records, I've still managed to collect a lot of shit in the last 5 years. I got rid of an insane amount of stuff when I moved to Seattle, don't know where all this other junk came from!
THE_James_Champ
I'm slightly drunk, spinning Thursday - Waiting on clear vinyl, and *maybe* screaming along.

THE_James_Champ
The parallels between Coheed's Second Stage Turbine Blade and Thursday's Waiting are perfect. Amazing debut albums with so many likenesses.
radiatorhums
I'm slightly drunk, spinning Thursday - Waiting on clear vinyl, and *maybe* screaming along. I really want Waiting to get pressed again. I'm not actively looking for a used copy, but I'm guessing it goes for more than I'm willing to spend. try one of those phone recycling machine things that are at malls might give you like $20 I'll look for one of those. I should actually see if it has any eBay value too. If I could just throw it in the trash, I probably would, so making a few bucks off of it would be rad. llamaface
There's a recycling thing at my grocery store, I think. Also a "cash for gift cards" machine. Weird.

I'm not actively looking for a used copy, but I'm guessing it goes for more than I'm willing to spend. At the time of purchase, I paid $45 plus shipping, which was the most I had paid for a used record at that point. With Eyeball gone, whatever's there on the market may be your best option, unfortunately.

I gave a dude $60 ppd for Waiting on clear and The Appleseed Cast - Sagarmatha pink/purple splatter shipped from Canada. It would have been a good deal shipped from the US, but dude paid $20 in shipping, so he only made $40 off those two items...so it was an incredible deal. http://www.discogs.com/Appleseed-Cast-Sagarmatha/release/1720161 http://www.discogs.com/Thursday-Waiting/release/5375217 Dude was awesome.
