radiatorhums
Forgive my ignorance (apartment kid), can someone explain house oil? I'm guessing it's gas heat related?
tokimedo
Gotcha. Good luck with the move! I'm jealous. And absolutely! Do you know which part of PA? Philadelphia. at the soundgarden hall.
Emo Revival
Forgive my ignorance (apartment kid), can someone explain house oil? I'm guessing it's gas heat related? It's just another way of heating your house. Some houses use natural gas, some use electric, and some use oil. My house uses oil and we have a 250 gallon tank in the basement that they fill up and that feeds the furnace.
abovetheearth
it's been $200 at the most for the previous cold months. summer is anywhere from 80-150 depending on AC use. this house was built in 1920, so it's really drafty. can't wait to get out of it. i know this feeling. same here. no insulation in mine. not yet. my heat/electric combined was more than my mortgage. this 'polar bore-tex (amirite)' is going to get a kick to the nuts from good ol me. futures

The house I grew up in had two wood stoves (which I didn't realize how awesome that is until I grew up) and gas heat.

Now, I can't wait to get one when I'm a real adult.

steventangent
My wife lost her job in November and got a new one right before Xmas...in another city that is kind of a long drive. This snowy, windy, cold as fuck winter makes me panic almost every day she leaves for work. We're supposed to see neutral milk hotel next week in Chicago. Here's hoping the weather cooperates. The plan when we bought the tickets was to take the train and stay a couple days so we wouldn't have to worry about it. But now we can't. Fuck you, polar whoretex. abovetheearth
ive lost 8 pounds this month. 2 a week by changing my eating and what i eat. its crazy. long way to go to bikini body but i havent exercised once.
futures
eat 6 meals a day! I wish I could! My body treats every 1 calorie as double so I can barely eat 3 meals a day without overeating even though I'm actually restricting. =\ Edit: That's fantastic about your weight loss! abovetheearth
i was experimenting. i used to not eat breakfast. id eat at one. and then at dinner id go bonkers. my stored fat didnt like that and panicked. now my small scattered balanced meals keep it all normal. and i eat fish every day

Princess Logan
I actually won't lose weight unless I excersise. It's awful. I eat fairly well and will not drop a pound unless I work out. Also I'm the woooorst at work today. I'm not used to people sitting down lately, so I'm stumbling over our specials board and "uhhhhming" a lot. Oops. WastedL1ght
I used to collect Pokemon cards when I was younger and just decided to sell them. Apparently my Charizard ex card is worth over 100$. Woah... Looks like this wasn't a waste of money at all.
