Probably an unpopular opinion but I would love a new jimmy eat world album of all acoustic songs whether they be new or old. I love their big catchy rock songs but Jimmy Eat World with acoustic guitars in hand is always great sounding. If Jim ever did a solo project I probably would fall in love instantly with it. There was a website once upon a time with all of the recordings up for download. I'll try to remember which site i was. But yeah a lot of the GBC songs have been rewritten/implemented into JEW songs. Most well known at this point I think would be Carry You. I think I mentioned it in this thread already, but the GBC song 'Ready' was written into 'Damage.' Kind of sad that Amazon is becoming the cheaper place for me to get records. I wonder if the price increase is going to cannibalize sales, the same way CDs did but on a much smaller scale. "These kids, they gotta have their vinylzzz, they'll pay any price!" I feel like everything I buy these days is a collector's item based on the price alone! I think the pricing coupled with Amazons auto rip will be a big factor. (I love my local record stores) why should I buy from a record store then go out and get the CD or MP3's for my digital player when I can buy from amazon tax free, free shipping, MP3's included.
