riddle350
I for one am appalled that Virgil would not take into consideration that some of the members on the message board actually work real jobs that do not allow access to the internet during the typical 9-to-5.We're not all 17 year old scenesters who spend mommy and daddy's money. I work a real job 8-5 monday through friday. So do a lot of other people. Really no matter what time Virgil decided to put these at someone somewhere would be pissed off because it wouldn't be conveinent to them. jhulud
I don't think it will "sell out" by the time 5pm rolls around...a lot of people have said that $60 is too much for them...I can understand that.

rivalcycle
unfortunately i can't get in on this due to hospital bills, but it seems people are just looking for reasons to trash the idea. if you don't like, you don't need to buy the share. sit back and shut up. sewbr0
well theres pretty much 1000 members. and who knows how many people read this board who arent registered members. so even if 200 shares are offered, thats only 20% of registered users. and since this will be an in store item, it means that people who arent even users can purchase it. so if something like < 20% of people affiliated with this board, registered user or not, i think it will sell out quite fast. and thats only IF 200 shares are offered. if its only 100 the odds of it selling out sooner increase. scooterist136
I'm excited about this, although I can't stand behind ANY of the records y'all want to press. I'm gonna participate for the collecting aspect alone. I hope I at least appreciate some of the packaging for these records.

dante3000
I see this as $60 to be part of something truly unique. I've missed out on a lot of cool subscription series and what not but to be a part of the first "cooperative" vinyl label is a really cool opportunity. I can see how it might be intimidating to kids with less money, but if I had the choice between this and buying 4 records I know I'd like I'll take this. It's a really interesting opportunity.
