I guess I'm the drunk one after all. I've spun this EP four or five times today and don't really enjoy it all that much. Doesn't feel very Pixies-ish to me. Just kinda sits there. "What Goes Boom" is the closest to sounding like a Pixies song and it is screaming out for some Kim. The ep does sound more like a Pixies influenced bad which isn't a band thing necessarily. Me too - the more I thought about it I was like "it's the Pixies - don't fuck around" I'm also sure a lot of these were saved to take on tour with the band, and that eventually these will all be compiled for some other release...
