Shelby
Built to Spill honored him tonight by covering Sister Ray. They extended the song to about 40 minutes, I was almost in tears the whole time. RIP Lou

Shelby
What I would have done to see that. Favorite band ever. Man, I'm still shaking. Every time I see them I hope for something epic like the Neil Young cover on their live album and tonight they fucking delivered. The encore was almost longer than the set. Brett was doing vocals for the Sister Ray cover and Doug was playing the organ solo on his guitar... Best show I've ever been to. Easily. Guest
That's awesome you got to see that and that it meant something to you. Built to Spill are such a wonderful band. I have always been a fan of their cover of What Goes On. Shelby
kamalatapes
I was first turned on to TVU with Who Loves The Sun. I only recently found out how truly beautiful Pale Blue Eyes truly was. I only found out about TVU as a junior in high school in 2004. It was life changing. I thought, "All bands from the 60s must've sounded like this!" Boy was I wrong. TVU forever. Lou Reed forever.
