I checked earlier today and there were 21 subscriptions left!

I can't really justify the subscription, I'd never spend that much on No Sleep releases in a year.  And I'm not a variant collector (except for all things Scogin).

I'm just hoping someone isn't that into it and would be willing to exchange a few bucks for the release :)

I couldn't really, either. But I had the extra money. And I felt like I deserved something for finishing high school and getting into college. Also I felt that if there are releases that I end up not liking, someone will gladly pay at cost + shipping for.

From NSR:

"Tampa based Rescuer has announced they have entered the studio today to start recording their next full-length album. The band is currently working with producer Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Joyce Manor) at The Atomic Garden studios in Palo Alto, CA with plans to release their sophomore effort later this year.

“We’ve been long time fans of Jack’s work, so having the opportunity to go into his studio and work beside him is going to be a huge milestone for this band,” says Rescuer’s JP Marra. “When writing for this new record, we really focused on our music translating well to a live show without losing it’s natural charm, so Jack’s methods of analog recordings will help us to achieve that. The newer material has a much more raw, natural, and involved approach to songwriting. Sonically, the songs maintain a lush and ambient atmosphere without losing the abrasiveness and urgency.”

“I will say that I am excited to take an organic approach to a style of music that has started to sound a little over done lately,” Shirley adds. “We will be recording the whole band live to tape. No heavy editing or studio tricks. It’s going to sound real and that is exciting to me. It’s feeling like we’re all on the same page and they seem like sweet guys. We have a bunch of mutual friends and I’m looking forward to hanging out and eating a lot.”

Rescuer’s forthcoming album will pick up where they left off on 2013’s With Time Comes The Comfort (Rise Records), which helped introduce fans to the band’s searing hardcore sound."

Listening to some songs on their BandPage on Facebook, I'm not the biggest fan of this kind of hardcore music, but I'll keep an open mind.

New record: Battle Lines "Colonies"

No Sleep hasn't announced it yet, but it's up on webstore.

http://www.nosleeprecords.com/release/200/colonies

"Colonies is the latest 7" from UK quartet Battle Lines. Haunting and fraught with inner conflict, the title track fuses intense, atmospheric guitars, surging rhythm and fragile lyrics that disarm the soul, while tearing down emotional walls with pensive accounts of love, loss and purgatory."

EDIT: And now they put out an announcement, http://nosleeprecords.tumblr.com/post/77818467625/battle-lines-join-no-sleep-pre-order-colonies-now

Not bad, probably the best band announce they've had in a year or more.
