serum7
Via AsianMan MIXTAPES / JABBER Split 7-Inch Available sometime in 2014. Pop-punk madness! Awesome, I'd much rather give them my money.
smeepo
Are we getting any full length albums this year? A quarter of the way through their announced releases (obviously that's speculation, they could announce more stuff for April) and we're getting three 7"s, a single sided split 12" and the Hundredth EP. Kind of disappointing so far. This is where I'm at.
dantheriver
Info on first package: Should be shipping out next week and will include Midnight from ‘68 a month before release date.
smeepo
So Midnight, Run Forever/Adventures and Daisyhead/Have Mercy? Cool, cool.
amnorth
There's at least one full length coming, and it's a 90s record for the first time on vinyl
smeepo
Interesting! Thanks for the tip.
amnorth
Yeah they've been not-so-subtly hinting at what it is since like last June, should be announced soon. I think tests are done
smeepo
I received a shipping confirmation for the first batch of records! Excited to see what they look like...
smeepo
Anyone want coffee? (Sorry for shit pics) Only complaints: the records don't look anything like the mock up and the mock up looked a lot better IMO and the wraps are folded pieces of paper that cover the bottom of the sleeve instead of go around it like the 2012 ones (and maybe the 2013 ones? I don't know), but otherwise I'm pretty stoked to have these! They're also hand numbered. '68 - Midnight 29/125 Adventures/Run Forever 67/125 Daisyhead/Have Mercy 11/
chamb117
i would be ok with the fold-ups, the wrap-arounds kind of became a pain in the ass
Jetboy
I'm pretty sure they went with the fold-ups this time since the wraps were such a pain in the ass to put on. Also it seems like the lack of full lengths is due to the fact that a lot of the bigger bands on the label put out full lengths on other labels. Shelby
That looks like they started using Pirates Press for their records. The haze from the other plant they were using looked a lot cooler. I like the dust sleeves a lot though.

smeepo
One odd thing, the Adventures/Run Forever split doesn't have the custom dust cover. However, they are thick and sturdy. No splits anywhere with these. I don't think the fold up things are that big of a deal, I just wish that they stayed on the jacket.
dantheriver
Lee Corey Oswald signed to NS and are working on an album for this year. Those dudes are pretty cool.

I like the dust sleeves a lot though. The coffee/creamer variant hardly looks haze at all. It looks like the "splatter" from the black/white variant of Bayside's Cult. smeepo
Pretty sure that the 90's album posted about a few pages back is "Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone?" by Harvey Danger, based on this picture posted on NSR's instagram: The original album art looks like this:
dantheriver
It's definitely Harvey Danger. Chris posted a video on Instagram a while back of him spinning the test press.

smeepo
I was only 3 years old when this album dropped, lol. I'm interested if there's a motive behind pressing this besides that it's never been pressed or just nostalgia, especially with Mineral and American Football reuniting. Probably not, but still cool. I saw/watched the video he put up on IG, but I had no idea what it was then.
