bobfrombob Posted January 16, 2014 Share Posted January 16, 2014 Just got my Graduation on purple and it's beautiful, but sides B, C and D have a lot of popping and skipping on them. Sides B and D are tolerable, but the first 2 tracks on side C are pretty much unlistenable. I just emailed them, and I'm hoping they can get me a better playing copy, cause it sounds like this issue is pretty common and they've been helping others out. Mine is pretty much exactly the same. I emailed them and they replyed that they were having troubles with the black copies as well. They offered a partial discount and let me keep the record. So I did. No major splits, which is nice. Drake, on the other hand, shipped the black version instead of the blue. FML come on VD. Listening to Grad, currently on Champion. Sounds good so far. Mine had splits on the top, side (right through 'Kanye West - Yeezus') and bottom. Side A, track 1 skips really bad, but everything else plays through. dreamover Posted January 23, 2014 Share Posted January 23, 2014 I thought you've made numerous posts against bootlegs... as much as i wish things on the internet were... not everything is simple or black and white. well, i think certain things about bootlegs are ridiculous, i'll pick one up if it sounds good and there's no official version. i think it's ridiculous to pay tons of money for one on ebay to collect the "variant". i think it's ridiculous to take claims about rarity and certificates of authentication seriously. most bootlegs i've come across over the years look/sound like shit. the only ones i own are these kanye boots. they sound pretty good and i didn't pay much money for them at all. 3arl 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
