Out of Breath Records
There's no denying they're a good band, but what's with the instant sell outs and 8 presses this year? I mean they're not THAT good. Edit: I pulled a South African deaf signer right there. I realize it was pressed in 2010. But still wondering why they are so popular with collectors. tittus and ratbrain

almightyseancore
they really cater to the collectors market with their variants and alternate covers and stuff. i can understand people who are into that sort of thing to really fall for a band like this. i own the bullshit 7", and their debut 12", but just first presses of each. i don't get into all that variant nonsense, i just want something to listen to. Out of Breath Records
What instant sell outs? Just being hyperbolic. Also, why did I get downvoted lmfao. Sorry Snowing fanboys if I offended you.
runforcover
what's with the instant sell outs and 8 presses this year? Their LP came out in 2010 I believe... and theres so many pressings because they're all like 300 copies.

Alright I completely buggered out really hard right there, my bad everyone. But still my statement about them being so popular stands. deletedunknown
I still need to give Snowing a proper listen. Algernon too. I'm so late game, the games over and the crowds have left the stands and are home talking about why the game went the way it did. entendu
Tommy
Algernon was fucking insane, that being said I remember giving Snowing a try back in the day but it didn't get me. I suppose I'll give it another try.
museummouth
John's (from Snowing) new band, Slow Warm Death just played their last show. Highly recommended http://slowwarmdeath.bandcamp.com Very different from Snowing though.

billya
I love Snowing, but it what they've been made into posthumously annoys me. That being said, support Chris Reject and buy the records that he releases.
Tommy
Anyone here remember Like Lions? I just remembered that was the reason I got into AC, Joe is an incredible guitarist.

Tommy
The lead guitar player from Like Lions is a good friend of mine. I remember there was a ton of hype surrounding that band (support from the starting line, Anthony Green etc.) but then nothing ever came to fruition. Am I right? Am I right? Unfortunately, you are right. Their guitarist and drummer are now in a band called The Grand Nationals.
Shelby
First pressing was over a thousand and everything since has mostly been 500. Not sure where 300 is coming from. I'll second Slow Warm Death. Madonna is the best song this year.

cwilks
Anyone here remember Like Lions? I just remembered that was the reason I got into AC, Joe is an incredible guitarist. Dig the two songs I have by them, but was never able to find anything else. Also I always felt like Algernon lost something when they lost their second guitarist. Seeing them in basements was the best. I would also agree with the fact that I saw Snowing a few times when they first began and was never that into them. I was really excited for them because i liked Street Smart Cyclist.
