catalinacaper
Carraba's is pretty lousy. It's a franchise so it's hit or miss. But ours in Melbourne was the bomb.
steviex2shoes
OH SHIT, CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT ABOUT BUTTERBURGERS!!!! Forgot about Culvers, probably since its just normal to see them here.

Princess Logan
I found out recently a lot of people don't have Rita's either!
kurtz
this might have been a thread before (and i might have even started it a long time ago?) but i'm too lazy to search for it. post things up in hurrrrrr that you have where you live, but you were appalled to find that people in other parts of the country/world don't have. this is probably going to be mostly food related stuff. i'll start it off: tastykakes (how do people live without these?!) sheetz friendly's (com'on. you get ice cream with your meal.) gertrude hawk chocolate All of this, plus Middleswarth chips. steviex2shoes
Ted's Hot Dogs (dogs, burgers, fries, milkshakes) Anderson's Frozen Custard (roast beef and ice cream) John and Mary's Submarines (subs and pizza) Duff's Famous Wings Anchor Bar (more wings) Jim's Steakout (subs again, amazing when drunk) Just Pizza (or really ANY pizza place in Buffalo) SPoT Coffee (for the hipsters) Tim Hortons (you probably want their coffee.) Mighty Taco (yummmm) Chef's (spaghetti) If you come to Buffalo, eat at any of these places and their food will blow your mind. There UGH! You're making me miss Buffalo...so much to miss! Guest
One thing we have only in Texas is Whataburger. Be jealous….but not really. It's only good for late night/early morning drunken food binges, and when that happens and your not eating asada tacos at a taco truck where all they speak is spanish then you're not doing it right. Hate to disappoint, but we have Whataburger here in the AZ. Not bad, not great, but decent enough. There was actually one in Tampa for a while too, but it was shut down...I went there for the grand opening since I worked a block away and was not into it. When I had it in Austin it was much better. catalinacaper
There was a Whataburger in Melbourne too for about two years but it was also shut down for a rash of food poisonings haha
3arl
I'm pretty sure I could eat Whataburger for every meal. It's one of the things I miss most about about Texas. There are a few locations outside of Texas, but there aren't many. The company is wary to allow franchises out of the state for some reason. Aych
After reading through this thread, I really miss Whataburger and really wish I could try In-N-Out. One thing Georgia has that's unique to us is The Varsity. It's not the best food, but the main store in Atlanta is really cool to visit if you happen to be nearby. There are like 20 cash registers all lined up in a row, and just about the only thing you can hear other than the cooks making the food in the kitchen is the cashiers yelling out "WHAT'LL YA HAVE, WHAT'LL YA HAVE" until someone walks up to order. To give you an idea:

shenanigans
I think its easier to do the opposite. We don't have Friendlys or 7-11 here, but we do have the homophobic chik-fil-a
thesecrets0308
Does anyone have Smashburger? We don't have an In and Out yet, but I heard they were building one soon. 5 guys is ok, but once I had Smashburger I never went back. One thing we have only in Texas is Whataburger. Be jealous….but not really. It's only good for late night/early morning drunken food binges, and when that happens and your not eating asada tacos at a taco truck where all they speak is spanish then you're not doing it right. There used to be a Smashburger in Tower Mall in Downtown Cincy. Not sure if it's still there, but that mall has been going downhill for years. It's probably gone. Why do you even care? ...and for the record, Chic Fil A has the worst food...soggy sandwiches and fries are not impressive to me.
