WastedL1ght
This was recently released in germany and tastes amazing. I seriously envy you americans for quite some stuff though.
thesecrets0308
Publix sounds like a brand name for a commercial grade bathroom cleaner or something. Doesn't sound appetizing, but I'll take y'alls word for it. haha
lonesomexloveus
Nope, never had them. But when I see Flyers games I always hear the announcer say "and another box of tasty kakes" and it makes me want them. you're totally missing out. the offer stands! if you want some, i'll send whatever kind you'd like for cost + shipping! i recommend the kandy kakes, koffee kakes, and the cream filled chocolate cupcakes. though everything is delicious. chamb117
Skyline Chili (again, mainly Cincinnati, KY and IN... but Florida has been blessed with one) NOTE: Goldstar chili sucks http://www.skylinechili.com/ Graeter's Ice Cream (I'll put Graeter's up in a battle of the greatest ice cream in the country) http://www.graeters.com/ thank god i have family who live in cincinnati. but CURSE THEM for introducing me to these things. knowing nothing is better than knowing at all. moved from california in 2012... my in-n-out, chick-fil-a and freebirds intakes in the last year and a half have been dangerously/depressingly low

paintedinexile
Boiled Peanuts I can't get good boiled peanuts anywhere in the North. They're just candy coated peanuts, correct? Because I've seen them here in Minnesota.
BuzzersonKillwell
No, those are like the boston something, something peanut. Boiled peanuts are exactly what they sound like. Peanuts boiled in shell.
jerseydave77
Bleinheim's Ginger Ale Seriously the shit. I always stop at South of the Border to ensure I get some. I see they ship now so I know my next impulse buy. I mean they have it as hot and not as hot flavor. Amazing stuff.
steventangent
is turkey hill just a PA thing? cuz they have the best ice cream. and the only lemonade that i actually like. Kroger owns turkey hill, so the local Kroger stores carry the brands.
jerseydave77
They're just candy coated peanuts, correct? Because I've seen them here in Minnesota. No, they are literally peanuts, taken raw, then boiled for hours in spices of some sort. I eat them shell and all since the guy I bought them from on the side of the road in Florida said that's the way it's meant to be done. It is seriously a Southern thing. You are thinking of Circus Peanuts.
Princess Logan
Circus peanuts are the weird marshmellow things. Not candy coated peanuts.

Not candy coated peanuts. ugh, circus peanuts are the worst. my grandmother LOVED them, though. also, pierogies <33333 i'm part polish (i head to the washeleski/mendelowski reunion in the summer summer time) and my relatives make and bring the BEST pierogies. i should ask someone for the recipe sometime. konk
I saw one of those Shaq sodas in the trash can at work, but we don't have any 7-11s. I wonder where they got it.
hipsterasfolk
Swensons This tops everything in this thread by far...Also I found a Blimpies inside a gas station out here, so weird!
koljou
When I moved to MN from CA the thing that got to me most was the lack of 7-11. I could live without Jack in the Box, In n Out, or Del Taco. When I moved back I found myself missing Culvers and Perkins. I also find the Carl's Jr. vs Hardee's regional thing funny. Guest
If I lived near an in-n-out, i'd likely burn myself out on it pretty quickly. that place is great. I did burn myself out on it...I still enjoy it, I just don't go as much as I did when I first got to AZ. Also, for those that don't know, Publix is just a grocery store that has some BANGIN' subs at the deli. Whole Ultimate on Boar's Head ftw! Princess Logan
I never understood the appeal of In N Out after I first had it. It was good but nothing to write home about. Then as time went on I realized every time I passed a fast food joint, I was wishing it was an In N Out.
