distinctlydustin
Any of you currently participate in any of these clubs. You typically pay a subscription fee and get a record a month?

distinctlydustin
Graveface, I'll check it. What about Insound? Why do the other two suck?
HoneyFrosted
Graveface, I'll check it. What about Insound? Why do the other two suck? Insound is just a discounted rate of already-inflated prices for the most popular LP's on the indie charts. If that is worth it to you, then yes, absolutely do it. As far as I know they don't give any crazy bonus shit so for most people I think it's pointless.

fought_piranhas
I was a member of Turntable Kitchen for awhile (you get a limited edition 7" that they press themselves and some recipes/ingredients to a few dishes that match the music). It was fun to get some new music but I found after awhile I couldn't really justify the price (shipping is more to Canada too). Plus my current apartment has the worst kitchen so I never ended up making a lot of the recipes. I've been trying to find a well priced record club that isn't too expensive and will ship to Canada. Will definitely check out some of these suggestions (if any other Canadians have ideas, I'd love to hear them).
beatnik11
Graveface until my face is on a grave, Ryan is the best. Also Asbestos is good if you like some ska and they have been repressing the They Might be Giants back catalog. Jump Up Records also has a fantastic deal if you love a lot of authentic ska, skinhead reggae, calypso etc
