  2. All of you complaining about taxes in the states seem to forget many other countries take twice as much income tax as ours.. stop complaining. http://www.truthfulpolitics.com/http:/truthfulpolitics.com/comments/u-s-tax-rates-on-employment-income-compared-to-other-countries/

  3. I don't know Flood from the next guy on here, but what you AREN'T seeing is that there are 582 other people who are bombarding him with questions and favors and refunds, etc. He also has to field info from SRC, their customers, the USPS, Office Depot (for supplies), Bags Unlimited (for mailers and inserts), plus the pressing plant. Not to mention that there are other releases besides this ONE that are happening. Point being: calm thyself. It's like $20.

  4. Got the swamp + book like most of you...very happy with the color even if it was a mistake. The book is an awesome touch and a cool way to submerge into the mood while listening to the entire record spin...which is the point of vinyl in general I guess. 5 stars on this one; wishing good things on this band.

  6. Almost a year to the day since the PO went up. About 2 months since someone commented that they received the Shook Ones 7" in the mail. I don't think its too much to ask at this point when a definitive (to the day) ship date will be. I really would like this by August.

  7. so I finally got this today! Got the book but it came with the swamp green variant, which I'm fine with after seeing how the blue/gold swirl variant turned out.

  10. Someone was asking for Miami stores....Here you go! Uncle Sam's Music (Miami Beach) 1141 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33179 http://unclesamsmusic.net Uncle Sam's is down to 1 location (which is the original flagship store in Miami Beach (South Beach) on tourist-y Washington Ave. -- Pompano Beach and Lauderhill -- R.I.P) As a CIMS store, they have a good selection of mostly everything, typical pricing for a indie store. Staff knows their stuff, but unfortunately this location lends itself to lots of DJ and electronic music, that wastes tons of space where the rock records should be. They were great on RSD. SWEAT Records 5505 NE 2nd Ave. Miami, FL 33137 www.sweatrecordsmiami.com Sweat is a nice little store, right next to the classic punk rock british pub Churchill's (the CBGB of the South). Nice atmosphere, so-so selection of new and used viinyl, over-priced. Staff isn't the most knowledgeable, but overall they're positive for a lackluster Miami music scene. Yesterday and Today 9274 SW 40th St. (Bird Rd.) Miami, Florida 33165 http://www.vintagerecords.com When you want to bulk up your pre-90s rock, jazz, blues and psych collection, go to Y&T at Fair prices. Tons of vinyl, some new pieces (mostly reissues of classic releases) - CD's also. This is what record stores used to be...and really should still be (like Blue Note Records was in North Miami Beach).
