The .WAV format download from ConSouling of the EU master sounds absolutely INCREDIBLE.  I've listened to nothing but Mass VI for four days now;  anxiously awaiting both vinyl preorders.

I have 3 copies of DS, clear 1st is full of noises and clicks, Dunk half/half is way better but not at 100%, tour splatter is the best of the 3, just a few noisy moments. 
According to Translation Loss new plates will be used for the new pressing (DS for sure, didn't ask about TQPOE and Crimea) so hopefully we finally have great sounding copies of the album, it definitely deserves the treatment.

Fuck, they also have Celeste's backcatalogue for PO. Went for all...plus the MFDC' Succubus...didnt expect today to be so expensive! 

for me, ICTYAP and Under Duress have a you fail me-ish era vibe which is a very good thing. i love all converge but i think i prefer when their riffs are little more angular / noise-rock influenced.

Robo crushed this release, the packaging is beautiful! Weighs a ton too.

As tempting as it is to hear even more new Converge, there are officially 5 months left in the year and the new 7" is more than enough to maintain my interest and hype for a new album.  I think I'll be holding out and waiting to do it right.

Just gonna reminisce again, last time I saw them they played Locust Reign. Me and like 20 dudes lost our minds in the pit and then some 16 year old kid in UFO pants and Dethklok shirt said "What a bunch of faggots..." to his friend when the song ended.
 
So I used him to launch myself towards the barrier during The Broken Vow because I'm am asshole.
 
What I'm trying to say is I'm so fucking stoked for a new Converge LP.

Back in my day you preorded a Converge record without knowing which variant you got or what the variants even were.
 
 
I doubt it'll be a full album pre-order. A full album announcement with the singles, probably. A 7" with those singles to go with the announcement, maybe.
