  1. I loved AA! back in the day, still a guilty pleaseure, but doing picture discs was probably the trashiest thing to do with this band. It's fitting.
  2. This is pretty good. It feels a lot more like the EP than the full length. If it's entirely like this I'll definitely buy a vinyl copy should they press it.

  4. Alright so this is the USPS thread but it seems like all mail carriers are trash. Anyone else use FedEx recently? I've had 2 orders with them this year, not by choice, and they've lost both packages. USPS and UPS can be a disaster sometimes but they've never lost my mail before.
  5. My guess is Paul Walker, Swell, and Hit Your Head are being repressed edit: there are placeholders for gold/500 for each release over at nslp.co
  6. Music-wise I like this a lot more than anything off the last couple of albums
  7. I've used them once (which is in transit right now) and I've been waiting over 2 weeks for FedEx to deliver my package. Not Sandbag's fault but for $10 shipping I'll take anyone else since this thing is basically lost. FedEx lost a package I ordered from Walmart last month, too.
  8. https://merchnow.com/catalogs/solid-state/onsale 3 of the variants are on sale today for $9-10
  9. Go to your first post on page 1, click edit, and then you'll see it open up the title of the topic for editing, click save after fixing.
  10. No real details but 24hundred has it up https://24hundred.net/products/post-human-survival-horror-12-vinyl-preorder
  11. I wouldn't be surprised if they do a split someday, especially since they're both on Relapse. Spencer has been writing nonstop this year and they have a lot of material ready to record, some of which might be recorded by this point.
  12. You're REALLY lucky. They won't modify orders any more unless something changed recently. My biggest issue has always been them not knowing how to count and not following time stamps on limited releases. Most recently they did this with an order I placed Dec. 2nd (they were guaranteeing people things would arrive by Christmas I should add) with no pre-orders, didn't ship it until 2020 and still shorted me a record. I had to reach out to a manager at a record label to reach out to Merchnow because they wouldn't answer the phone and wouldn't answer my emails spread out across weeks of time passed.
  13. Merchnow is literally the worst. Did you order from a specific band or label? I've found it most helpful to reach out to the band or label because they usually have a direct contact at Merchnow to expedite the process. This kind of crap is why I've been asking bands and labels to stop using Merchnow for years. It's frustrating when they get exclusive variants I can't get elsewhere but I usually try to avoid them.
  14. I wouldn't say it's rude or disrespectful unless they replace the existing record and remove it from streaming and such. Keep in mind Solid State probably sold the rights for this record and pressing it could be too expensive to make it worth getting the rights and they rerecorded in order to press it again out of affordability. Also maybe they got Josh's blessing?
  15. I'll gladly welcome it back. In the last several years, the only year I didn't care for was 2014 so I went to the APMA's instead. For less than $50 (some years I paid less than $30) there's always been at least 10 bands I'd enjoy seeing, usually closer to 20. Last year I donated blood and got to see Every Time I Die and Kublai Khan side stage which was sick. I know people have hated on Warped for years but I've loved going every year. You can't beat the price for what you get. 2015 might have been my favorite year because I got to see Citizen, Moose Blood, Koji, Grey Gordon, Have Mercy, Hundredth, Lee Corey Oswald, Being as an Ocean, Emarosa, Major League, Man Overboard, Night Riots, PUP, Pvris, Riff Raff, Seaway, Senses Fail, Transit, Miss May I and Crossfaith. My only regret was not seeing comedians because I'm a fan of Beth Stelling now. I also got to go twice because No Sleep gave me free tickets to one date. But honestly 2018 was sick. I saw The Interrupters for less than it costs to see them do a headliner. Same goes for Chase Atlantic and Good Charlotte. Turnstile and August Burns Red played the Maryland date so we were very fortunate for that. They got some really big names for us.
  16. Backed as soon as I got the Qrates newsletter this morning! I'm really excited for this one.
  17. https://www.brooklynvegan.com/hundredth-break-down-every-track-on-their-synthy-new-album-somewhere-nowhere/ This was a fun read if you have the time and interest. Chadwick's wife Taryn helped out too!
  18. I'd hope so. It's really good imo. But I think more copies are being flipped than what would be expected. Allowing 2 copies of each variant (there were 3 in the first press) per person was an idiotic move by the label when they initially pressed 1000. There were a lot of complaints about people not getting a copy since so many got flipped. For those that didn't know, it's mostly jazz. I've linked what's available digitally below.
  19. It's tied for my AOTY with Heavy Hearts. I hope you're all enjoying it today 🐸
