  1. Sticking with my original press, but that tour press looked nice.
  2. To everybody bitching about shipping delays in the other Dashboard thread, I ordered my copy of Places from Rough Trade UK, and had it in-hand six days later.
  3. This. Second City Prints is in Batavia, and they do fulfillment for a bunch of folks.
  4. It is expensive (my shipping was only $8 for Priority, though), but this is a case where I've always regretted selling my original pressing of the record. The chance to get some demos and B-sides, and to support the band while they can't tour also made it pretty easy for me to spend the extra.
  5. FYI, purchases of the So Long Astoria Demos come with a download of 54 demo versions of the songs on the record. I doubt they're all gonna be golden, but just throwing it out for reference.
  6. I work in a planetarium and have such difficulty with their application of the word 'galaxy' here.
  7. Shit, the screen-printed version is already out of stock.
  8. Cool, I'll grab this on bandcamp day (if it's still around).
  9. If anybody in Nashville/Detroit is willing to grab the colored pressings of the two That Dog releases and ship them to Chicago, PM me and I'll make it worth your while.
  10. They already posted and burned through another 50 of the split color version. So that's at least 150 of that variant.
  11. Yeah, and that probably explains why Unoriginal Vinyl generally only presses a couple hundred copies, which then drives up production costs. It's quite the ouroboros.
  12. Yeah, I've got some Stavesacre Speakeasy regrets because, goddamn, $40 is ridiculous for a 2xLP.
  13. Yes, but I sent in an inquiry, and they emailed me an updated link that worked. That said, it's only three tracks, not the full album.
  14. Goddamn, at the 14-minute mark he bitches about perception v reality of the color of this record too.
  15. Tried to buy this at Reckless over the weekend, but they didn't have it. Will give them another look over the next few weeks.
  16. Under-rated comment, as these warped record discussions seem to creep up every summer While it doesn't really match the video, I could see if, say, two A-side edges are curled up (like a bowl), when you play the B-side, those curved edges would be pushed into the platter, and flattened out.
  17. They haven't teased out any additional information about the That Thing You Do release, right?
  18. Happened to check out the No Sleep website last night and they have a decent pile of stuff marked down, up to 87% off. YMMV, but I grabbed half a dozen records for $30. https://nosleeprecords.com/collections/sale?sort_by=price-ascending
  19. I really can't wrap my head around it. They weren't that well known; it just seems like such an odd choice for a pricey discography/box set release.
