But I found myself getting into Long Distance Calling last year & mostly because they gave me riff-heavy vibes like RC.  Not nearly as good as them obviously, but the opener on Boundless even reminds me of early RC guitars.

I also found myself listening to Boundless a lot last year when I wasn't sure what else to listen to; tired of the regular rotation. It inadvertently became my AOTY.

Not new, and mentioned multiple times (between both threads, I believe), but I checked out Ghost Shirt Society by Antethic a few weeks ago. I can not stop listening to it. It gives me The American Dollar vibes without being The American Dollar at all (I'm not good at analogies.)

I also realized I hadn't listened to the new Glasir album that much. I loved their Unborn EP but haven't given this one a decent chance yet. Gave it a go last night and almost fell asleep. Don't know if it was just off pure tiredness or if the album is simply boring. Need to give it another go with another mood.

For a band that lives in my back yard, I'm really sore they don't play more/any shows. Unborn does not get old.

I still haven't checked out their full length, and now I'm scared.

Watched Hereditary not too long ago. It was spooky.

    Hereditary is great.

I've watched a lot of terrible horror movies recently (not hard to find). but a couple good stand-outs are Before I Wake and The Evil Within (minus Sean Patrick Flanery's really, REALLY bad performance)

Is this supposed to look like a beastie boys album?

I was trying to figure out why I felt like I had already seen this album when it just came out today.

I'm usually in the minority of opinion because I'm into this. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  Revival did set the bar really, really low though.

  5. Playing catch-up.

Watched the entirety of American Vandal last night for the second time. Immediate favorite. I also second any DARK recommendations (and switching to subtitles). It might not be as good as some of the shows it is compared to, but it holds its own and has the most beautiful intro I've ever seen. I also keep hearing good things about Big Mouth, but I can't get past the first episode.

Lastly, Hang the DJ warmed my cold dead heart more than San Junipero ever could.
