  1. Armageddon is cool, also right near a big (as far as vinyl selection goes) Newbury Comics. For beer and food, check out Lord Hobo, Meadhall, and Area Four. All this stuff is in Cambridge/Somerville. My favorite touristy things are the Museum of Science and the Aquarium.
  2. I love that Craig from Shudder to Think wrote this. Personally, I'd like Heart Attack Love as the b-side. Or really, a full LP with the Jefferson Starship, Loverboy, etc. songs.
  3. This might be their most MBV sounding thing yet. I dig it.
  4. I just picked up OK Computer from Amazon during that sale. It has a Capital sleeve, but the actual records are from Pariphone and sound fantastic. Not sure if that's the case for Amnesiac, etc. Back to the original subject, a lot of my Epitaph pressings sound like garbage. Most noticeably The Menzinger's OTIP.
  5. In no real order yet: Courtney Barnett - Sometimes I Sit... Sleater-Kinney - No Cities To Love Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly Tenement - Predatory Highlights Mac McCaughan - Non-Believers Kamasi Washington - The Epic Mountain Goats - Beat the Champ
  6. I'm digging this way more than I thought I would have, it's my favorite thing Oberst has done in a long while. Kinda wish I ordered it instead of Refused...
  7. I remember the On a Wire picture disc was one of the first records I ever bought, all these memories coming back! Did anyone else see them on the tour for it with Superchunk?
  8. I totally forgot they just stopped after Brighten the Corners...weird. TT is seriously underrated.
  9. Thanks! Really looking forward to it. Not to derail the thread, but let me know if there are any places I have to check out while there.
  10. New song. This is probably the most classic Refused sounding one yet: http://pitchfork.com/news/59913-refused-share-dawkins-christ/
  11. Damn. Ironically, I'll be in Copenhagen when they're playing Boston.
  12. I'm just wondering if they'll have EVERYTHING in the iTunes store, like The Beatles. If so, I could see myself switching from Spotify too.
  13. Holy shit, they're playing with HUM in Boston. http://www.boweryboston.com/event/867245-failure-boston/ All my space rock dreams have come true!
  14. I don't know, I feel like even a Blues Traveler LP is an improvement over the other stuff I've seen people get. ...I'll show myself out.
  15. Wow, it's even worse than I thought: http://www.stereogum.com/1801049/vnyl-sliding-why-the-netflix-for-vinyl-service-is-such-a-mess/franchises/essay/
  16. I haven't picked up any of the previous sets yet, but think I'll have to get this one for Leaves. Also, a reasonably priced 4/5 LP set? CRAZY.
  17. This is amazing. What #vibe do you have to select to get five Engelbert Humperdinck records?
  18. On first listen, I think I like MCII a tad more but this one seems like more of a grower. Some really cool stuff going on here, what an absurdly talented guy.
  19. Maybe I need to revisit it, but for whatever reason it didn't do anything for me. And I loved the other two.
  20. This song is fantastic and already better than anything on Local Business. I also think I've ordered everything Merge has put out this year. They should really just do a subscription.
  21. Debating going to the Boston date, although I too, hate the HOB. Also, it starts at 2pm on a Wednesday?
  22. Thanks for the heads up on that violet. Ordered!
  23. New song, and album info. It's fine! Don't really feel strongly one way or another about it. Still looking forward to seeing them in June. http://pitchfork.com/news/57401-refused-are-back-new-album-freedom-out-this-summer-new-track-elektra-streaming-now/
