Loving the album. If you've ever been a fan of NIN's remix albums there's literally no reason to complain about this.

Says the funds go to making the new album, but how much did they spend in the first place to fill this box with a bunch of extra junk to fit around a coffee table book?

Also I'd like to add that 95% of the time, bootleg shirts are made with better print AND better fabric quality than the actual official shirts. Damn near every NIN shirt I've ever bought from one of their shows the NIN logo was always just slightly off center on the front of the shirt and they all shrank considerably over time. The two bootleg NIN shirts I have are the perfect fit and the logos are dead center.

It's not a mistake. The first pressings were all made when the album title was still The End For Now. Then they changed the album title and some changed masks. Hence why the gatefold image only features Jay and Corey's new masks.

No it was definitely the 15th. My local shop put out a fat stack of Vol. 3 Indie and most of them were gone by the end of the day. They only have like one copy left I think.

This album really opens up when played in full, both EPs back to back. I also think Death might squeeze out Love as the better of the two EPs as well. It's all really good though. I love this new early 00s trip hop vibe they got going on with this release.

Knowing Trent though, I can see him reissuing Year Zero finally while also dropping a surprise sequel to it or something. It's been REALLY quiet on the NIN front for a really long time now and they ARE finally returning to live shows this year.

I would imagine that Year Zero is actually happening this year since 2022 is the year when the album's concept actually takes place.

Got my Deluxe copy in today and it was just the Gatefold shrink wrapped with no actual discs inside. I swear, Run Out Groove releases great shit, but I have yet to have an order through them that did not have some kind of quality control issue.

Someone sold a used copy of the standard black at my local shop the other day. The store posted about it on Instagram basically the second the used buyback was over, and apparently there were several people fuckin' Rat Race'in it to the store to get to it.

Yeah you're correct. I worked at a Wherehouse Music when these came out. Fire and Water were in fall/winter and then Earth and Air came out right as Spring was hitting. I remember the day the last two came out we put all 4 discs on repeat all day long in the store's PA.
