Barsuk had a bunch of these on their site a few years ago. I snagged a copy then. Not sure if they just found a bunch or what the deal was. I dont see any reason to buy this version since I have the original. Now, if they released Fun Blame Monster origami style, I'd be all in.

I always assume the "thus far" is implied when people discuss aoty so early. That being said, this is not in my top five so far this year. I think Garbage Golem nailed it on this one.

I agree with everything about his vision and music and whatnot, but his voice does nothing for me. I wish someone else sang his songs.

Pistol is terrible, but after a few listens, I kind of liked it, in an embarrassingly bad way. Like My Morning Jacket's "Highly Suspicious"...a terrible song, but I love it. It's one of those songs that I want to play really loud in the car but would turn way down if I was at a stop light.

Are both Parlophone issues the same?

I have the original Parlophone pressings of HTTT and Kid A. Both sound incredible. I should probably pick up Amnesiac. Is there a difference between the original Parlophone and the repress?

Portishead NYC is the best live album I've heard on vinyl.

Got my white copy from Amazon today. Looks nice and sounds pretty good. The cover was beat to shit though. Might have to ask for a refund.

The bundle is pretty reasonable considering what you get.

Mine sounds great. Better than Hospice, that's for sure. But no one listens to Hospice for the quality sound recording.
