Seriously! The only exclusives now are the book and 2 singles. Everything else has been released apart already, and the box set isn’t even colored. Still an awesome box set, but they definitely should’ve waited a while to release individual colored presses and not have it all done within the same year.

Clouds Hill posted a video on IG showing the retail version of this, and it actually comes in a normal jacket now with paper inner sleeve. Instead of just a printed sleeve like the box set

None of the Mars Volta exclusives are being pressed through GZ, as far as I know, so they should be good.

Perfect timing – just today VMP announced that despite all the headaches and issues with GZ – who handled De-Loused – they'll actually be using that plant even more, going forward. 👍

At least I know with Rise there will be 17 other variations so I'll hold off on a 7 month preorder. 

The EP as a whole kind of reminds me of the Water disc from Thrice' Alchemy Index. I like it a lot, although I do wish it were a little more guitar driven. 
Also  I think Rise may have no meant to send the full EP out with the pre-orders. I just got a secondary email saying the download has been updated, and then when you download the updated link, it's a word document saying "you'll get the digital order the day of release".

I only have De-Loused that they refunded for the pressing issue so it's tempting but I also just don't feel like dropping that much right now, it definitely seems like these will all be accessible at local shops now though so that's good news 

There was a whole email with a video about it. It's something CC wants to do, but he wants to do it "the right way" (whatever that truly means). He did mention when/ if it is made, boxset purchasers will get some sort of discount.

After the person above me is taken care of, I have a brown cover version I got from Saint Vitus to offload as well. It's Yellow/Orange/Green (outside/middle/inside). No damage to discs or jacket. Cost+shipping.

Honestly, now that Omar has the publishing back for these..........I feel like we're going to see different presses every 6 months hahaha.

Got my Deluxe finally! Really fun/cool packaging on this one.
Its almost like the art was really thought out and made just for the vinyl release, and flattened down for CD/Digital.
 
Seeing as the inner sleeves become part of the cover though, I wish they were not the like 'printer paper thin' type. 
Also some minor warping on the second disc...
But oh well! Looks and sounds great, very pleased. 

I was about to post how frustrated I was that this wasn't announced to Patreon supporters first, but glad to see it's getting a wide release. Besides being a huge Manchester fan, I also collect Christmas records, so this is the perfect combo for me!

I got an email from them stating the repress. Both my initial copy and replacement copy had the sound issue.
I had to send them videos of the issue.

Is there a statement they posted, or an email saying they’re going to repress it? And will it be for everyone or just those that have sent them emails complaining about the noise? 

Na, it's pretty bad. The first minute of the A/B sides have a horrible static noise. VMP have acknowledged there is an issue, they think it was a stamper problem. They are going to repress. 

My copy has a tolerable level of noise for a $25 release. Since it's a nearly $50 release from VMP, I find it unacceptable.
