I've had it for maybe 5-6 months and haven't had to replace it yet. I should probably grab some replacements soon just to be safe. I think a 3 pack is like $20. I don't have a dust cover, but should really get one. I just wipe it down every couple days. I know some people don't like the spinning platter, but there's a replacement you can buy that has really good reviews. Can't remember who makes it though. This is clearly a controversial opinion, but Wildflowers might be my least favorite Petty album (outside of You Don't Know How it Feels, which is a top tier song) Also, not sure how true this is (because this is the first I've read it) but that item description says the OG Wildflowers was mastered from digital, but the one in the box set was mastered from analog.

Someone got shot right outside my apartment today. In the arm, so they're fine. But this is now 4 apartments in a row where someone got shot right outside. Not down the street. Not nearby. Right the fuck outside. T3, I'd say look into some fancy thermostats. We got ours open box for like $60 each. Paid for themselves in a couple months.

Not sure what kind of thermostat we've got. It's programmable but not hooked up to our phones or anything. We've got an Aros AC and it's great...the company went under so they don't make them anymore (obviously) though. Luckily Wink survived so the smart features still work. We got it for $50 too. Dude down the street was selling it on Craigslist because he was moving. A bunch of people bailed on him so by the time we contacted him he was like "I'm loading the last of my shit into a Uhaul right now, if you can get here in time it's yours for $100" we were like "We have $50, we'll have to stop at an ATM..." so he was just like fuck it, $50

Couple weeks ago I would've been all over that 3750. But I might have to move at the end of the month and I'm having surgery around the same time...so my "drop a bunch in one record" money is non-existent at the moment.

Turned the AC in my apartment off, went to the movies for a few hours. Turned the AC on (yay smart appliances) before I left the mall. It was 15 degrees cooler outside by the time the movie was done. I'll honestly probably save a fair amount on my electric bill if I keep doing that through this heat wave. Helps that I have moviepass so I'm not actually spending money on tickets.

I always end up with weird lopsided mixes on these merge variants. I've got one or two where at first I was like "Wasn't this supposed to be two colors?" Everything about this release looks great though. I'm usually not a fan of merges, but the black/gold goes so well with the artwork.

Minimum wage in GA is $7.25. Depending on how close they are to a post office it'd probably be cheaper than lunch.
