Retail will probably be black as always with the bigger evr releases so don't hold back. Also the half/half is basically perfect.

Bv variant white for a whopping 8 more bucks.

EVR said on reddit that they're expecting a "translucent black" for Amazon fwiw. don't love the weird green on two of these but the half n half is good enuff!

walmart has the red (presumably) for 21.46 as a pre-order with the same 07.14 release date without mentioning the color. So if you like gambling:

can confirm the Walmart listing is for the ruby red, just got mine in! still $0.47 more expensive than the lowest price drop on Amazon lol thought i was being slick switching over. but ultimately just happy to have this!

Great singles. Dull LP. Huge SF59 fan here, but I'm so over these ho-hum records Jason keeps putting out. A couple good songs with dreary filler padding them out. I wish he'd go back to collaborating with producers who'd help push his songs in more interesting directions. IAMACEO has grown on me, but everything since then has been ZZZzzzzzzzzzsleepy.

including IAMACEO, that's how i feel about his discography since Changing of the Guard. except Young in My Head, i guess. really connected with that one. i'd kill for another Old or Fashion Focus or (especially!) a return to shoegazier sounds. but i'm mostly glad he's making stuff still, no matter what.

  4. it's almost certainly the turntable and you are returning perfectly fine records in all likelihood. i did this too at the outset of my vinyl journey, was so confused by the process. definitely don't give up on the seemingly faulty records you have and have a look around for cheaper used alternatives that have counterweight adjustment to the tonearm and such.

This is exciting. The self-titled album has held up really well, it's right up there with Souvlaki in my opinion. However, the pressing for it was terrible, my copy is not even worth listening to. Hopefully this doesn't happen again.

see if you can track down either the japanese exclusive or the grey indie retail(?), i've had copies of both that sounded really nice. though from the wider range of discogs comments it sounds like the grey is a bit hit or miss..
