Rammstein sexual assault allegations? Du hast to be kidding me!
and their fans blindly defending their ugly ass frontman's right to sexually abuse women? who could've seen that coming?

Dude chill out. Even Till's ex has come out in support of him. I don't say that he's not involved in some raunchy behaviour - because he certainly is - but I think the Johnny Depp trial should have really set a precident to wait for actual proof before completely destroying someones carreer or even life over allegations from some potentially attention-seeking semi-psychos like Amber Turd.
Just look at the book publisher that released his poetry books. They have just cut ties with him and wrote that it has come to their attention that he featured the book they published in a porn film he shot as a music video. You mean to tell me that they have just found out NOW? Like, 3 years later? Give me a break. They made money with him as long as they could and are now trying to save themselves. Absolutely pathetic. If you want to talk about "enabling" weird behaviour by money-makers these companies should be dragged before a jury first in a case like that. At the end of the day, Till is a rockstar, and the singer of Rammstein at that. So what do people expect? There are even videos out there (from this year) of groupies dressed like russian hookers lining up before the barricade in front of the stage and signing "paperwork" on a smartphone before being let backstage. It's just how it is, they're not being dragged backstage, they're going because they want to. Till has a reptuation and they all know it.
I don't know. I'm actually suprised that it took this long for people to come after that band after the whole me too campaign a few years ago. In the end, Rammstein have been in the critical eye of the ignorant public and the press ever since they started in the mid 90s. They will not go anywhere, and that's a good thing.
a truly insane fanboy take, i'd expect nothing less from you tbh. just so we're all clear here, wanting to go backstage ≠ consenting to sexual acts. suggesting anything else is truly disgusting dude.

I feel like this album deserves a tour more than WTDWYAD. Dream blows that album out of the water. Both are good though.
fuckin preach. hope we get some goofy variants for it. the greatest jersey emo album tbh.

yeah the OG art (and going way back, the OG vinyl art) is way cooler than this Pedro the Lion wannabe stencil shit. cool variants popping up though, eager to see how the Zia one turned out

ahh ok so i'm a little bit outside the cutoff at #1116, i saw the VC post on day 2 so sounds like there was a great initial burst of sales on day 1. which speaks to how good the record is i reckon. if extra tapes do go up i will certainly have a look! big tape guy these days.

Yep! Didn’t wanna distribute a subpar product and unfortunately had to reject the first test pressing so it took a little longer than the band and I had hoped. Just happy to have them in-hand now.
that's the right way to do i in my opinion, always happy to wait longer for a better product! btw can you say what the order # cutoff is for the bonus tape? very curious if i made the cut hehe

looks like these are shipping soon per an email from the label! forgot that i had this on pre-order, lovely surprise

It's so odd too—you can get a copy of just about everything Asthmatic Kitty has ever put out, but not Age of Adz. I've wanted a new copy forever just because I've played mine SO many times and it looks it. AoA slowly became my favorite Sufjan album, but I was not originally into it when it was released.
so i did some digging into this after reading your comment and found a reddit thread where AK said the plates were lost for the release and they have to be restamped and/or the release remastered (something they've considered doing to get Impossible Soul all on one side). would explain why it's not stayed in print when other LP titles of his have.

I think you're better off not knowing. Lindemann's (Till's side band) first album, Skills in Pills, is all in English, and -- as far as I'm concerned -- it's unlistenable. Their second album, F&M, is all in German, and it's night-and-day.
In any case, like some others, I have the boxset they put out in 2015(?), but I'm glad they're finally making this available separately.
i second this suggestion lol. honestly just listen to "skills in pills" if you want an english-language sense of his very limited lyrical focus and prowess. it's the same MO – lots of childish sex humor, flaccid attempts at shock, and the occasional, semi-insightful sociopolitically-minded changeup. absolutely not to hate or anything, because sometimes the music + lyrics combos pays off nicely (Benzin and Amerika are two pretty great examples of this latter mode of writing that I still treasure). but only sometimes

I disagree with this entirely. Their music is very good if you're into industrial music. I like almost everything they have put out. On top of that I think their live show was one of the best I have ever seen. They actually put thought and effort into making it a great show and not just guys standing there playing music
yeah i think their approach to melding modern metal riffing and industrial sensibilities was hugely innovative and still sounds pretty fresh after ~25 years. on the other hand, at least as someone who knows German, the cringe-inducing/shock jock humor that the majority of their songs rely upon lyrically feels extremely dated. one imagines the majority of their N.American audience neatly skirts this dilemma by just not really knowing what exactly Lindemann is saying

Also an Age of Adz repress. I wasn't crazy about AoA when it came out, but it's great.
dang is it out of print again? i remember waiting for it to come back in stock for like 3 years until i scored a copy a couple years ago, didn't realize it was gone again (although i am seeing some indie shops have copies still)

"Sehnsucht," the German word for desire, does not particularly capture what I feel when contemplating buying a Rammstein record (at any price point) in the year 2023.

i don't have to (and nor would i ever want to) "know" you, you've shown your ass on here before on this same issue lmfao. you blame the victims and dickride mediocre rockstars, willing to excuse real harm and abuse of power because you clearly despise women, who are just "groupies" or "hookers" to you. if you were intelligent enough to, you'd have some shame and keep your mouth shut on these issues. but since you and all the other mouthbreathing rape apologists on here are not, i'm more than happy to put you in your place.
