  1. About how long did it take everyone to receive theirs? I know there's no shipping notifications but I'm not sure how quick he/they are at getting them out.
  2. https://summerspins.wordpress.com/2017/03/26/the-shins-heartworms-vinyl-album-review/ My review on the standard pressing of Heartworms if anyone's interested. The record sound good but I actually miss the straighforwardness of Port Of Morrow.
  3. https://summerspins.wordpress.com/2017/03/15/ed-sheeran-÷-divide-vinyl-album-review/ I reviewed the standard black version (both the music and packaging) up on my blog if anyone's interested. It's a good album although I think Multiply might be a bit stronger. For taking a year off and traveling I was hoping it would be a little more inspired lyrically than the songs like Barcelona and Galway Girl but no one writes a simple love songs like Ed. "How Would You Feel" is my favorite song of his.
  4. Someone on Instagram got it. Matador Records reposted it earlier
  5. Here's my quick review on the album and the packaging. The purple vinyl sounds really good, a huge difference between the digital versions I was listening to in the car. https://summerspins.wordpress.com/2017/03/18/spoon-hot-thoughts-vinyl-album-review/
  6. I caught them live on the first show of the tour I believe on Monday. I left my thoughts on the show below, Eric Harvey seems to be out, they have a new keyboardist/guitarist Gerardo Larios. It was his third time playing with them. Everything off the new album sounded really good, like it might be their best album good. The opening song Do I Have To Talk You Into It was a highlight. There was no tour exclusive or anything, but the record isn't out yet either. I got a free download with the t-shirt I bought but haven't tried it yet to see if it'd work early. https://summerspins.wordpress.com/2017/03/09/spoon-at-the-observatory-in-santa-ana-march-6-2017-concert-review/
  7. If anyone's looking to see how the record packaging looks I did a quick review on it on my blog https://summerspins.wordpress.com/2017/02/21/ryan-adams-prisoner-vinyl-album-review/
  8. The new LP from Karen Elson is up for pre-order. I missed this when it was announced, I thought she was still on Third Man for some reason. The first single Distant Shore is out and I really enjoy it, it's a different kind of sound than her debut for sure. Pre-order: $19 w/ Prime http://amzn.to/2kIVzZg
  9. I preordered from Bull Moose and it came on Wednesday, it happens a lot with them.
  10. I posted a quick review and pictures of the packaging up on my blog if anyone's interested. It's a nice heavyweight sleeve and clean sounding record. Although its drag city so still no dl code https://summerspins.wordpress.com/2017/01/26/ty-segall-ty-segall-vinyl-album-review/
  11. I'd pay $50 just cause it's a live album and I wouldn't listen to it much, especially spread across 3xLPs. If it was demos or acoustic stuff or something I'd pay a little more.
  12. I love them and they're one of the few bands I would overpay on a record for but this is ridiculous.
  13. I got mine yesterday as well and as a huge Killers fan I don't regret buying it but there's no way this needed to be in the huge "book" thing it's in. I haven't had a chance to listen to it but mine is insanely scuffed and cloudy as well, I played through the worst looking scuff and it didn't seem to affect the sound but I haven't had a chance to play the whole thing yet. The only thing that makes it worth the $50 is that it's the only non-picture disc version of Sam's Town out right now.
  14. So does Bong Load not send shipping notifications? I pre-ordered Sam's Town right around when it went up but haven't heard anything from them since then.
  15. Last week I picked up those 2 exclusive Modest Mouse EP's and the Built To Spill album from last year for $2 each. The Built To Spill ended up being the blue variant so that was a complete steal
  16. Just a heads up they charge your card right away. I decided to go ahead and buy Sam's Town even though its probably $15 too high. If they put as much care as they said they did into these a 2xLP 45rpm copy should sound incredible and get $50 worth of playing time though.
  17. Hmmmm, I love the new album art and The Killers are one of my favorites but I still don't think it's worth $50. I'll probably wait a little while longer and see if it pops up for pre-order from Zia like the Beck ones did. The picture disc honestly doesn't sound bad. I have the 2xLP 45rpm copy of Battle Born that came with a 12 page booklet and a poster and that only cost me $30. It sounds like this reissue will be similar to that.
  18. Damn, I was looking forward to a standard pressing of Sam's Town but not for $50. I don't know why Bong Load is even releasing that, The Killers have never released anything through them in the past.
  19. Ok, I had this problem a few months ago and emailed Popmarket about it but never got a response. No matter what device I'm using I'll get to the final page of checking out and click confirm order but it just refreshes the page and won't go through. I've never gotten charged for anything but it's weird that I can't get past that page. Is it just me?
  20. Since it's on SSD I think it should pop up on Bull Moose as well at some point. I preorder everything I can from them with the fast free shipping + BM points.
  21. Went with the pink from Bull Moose. I could get used to an album a year from them
  22. Not huge on Lift A Sail but they were the first pop-punk band (as well as band in general) I got really into. It's bittersweet, it sucks they won't be churning out album after album of quality material but based on the single they're going to go out with a bang.
  23. Glad thats not just my table. I just got Fearless yesterday and noticed the sibilance on Fifteen. It got really bad on You're Not Sorry too I believe
